Bingo! Speaking of South Park, the one where Mr. Garrison sings "Hey there Mr. Hindu, merry f**ing christmas..." cracks me up.

Anybody ever seen the South Park "pilot"????

It was a video Christmas card they made for a studio exec that featured a knockdown drag-out fight between Jesus and Santa Claus. All of the South Park kids are cheering them on..

JESUS: "I am your savior, children"
KIDS: "GO JESUS! KICK HIS ASS!"
SANTA: "But I bring you presents every Christmas"
KIDS: "GO SANTA! KICK HIS ASS!"

    :D

It's how Trey and Matt got signed to do South Park.

I have a copy of it at home. It was given to me by a friend in LA who works in the biz. I watch it every holiday season, inebriated.

Haven't seen it yet this year...maybe tonight!

I've seen it. But it wasn't a Pilot. It was done specifically as a Christmas Card.

After some execs saw the Christmas card, they got Trey and Matt to consider a pilot. However, they absolutely refused because the card took so damn long (they actually parodied an episode about that.)

They finally agreed to do the show when an exec told them they could get the animation computerized. Little did the exec know that their crappy animation would be so hard to computerize. South Park is made on one of the most advanced CGI's in the biz. That's why every now and then like the Speilberg epiode, they'll show off what they can do. Remember last years "ninja warriors" episode.

eh, more mindless knowledge for y'all.
