It's probably True Romance, though I have have never seen it. =p

One of those movies I've always heard about and have wanted to see forever, but have never gotten around to it.

This poll is kinda like asking what was your favorite time that you were kicked in the balls.....

I always felt that Slater was mediocre and was getting pushed on the public as the next Nicholson.

I said True Romance for the comic book angle and because Walken and Hopper are awesome in it, but Interview with the Vampire was a better movie.... just not because of Slater.

Slater was the epitome of the teen-angst actor and counter-culture, who reminded people of Jack Nicholson because of his voice and mannerism. I do think they are very similar in the roles: one flew over the cuckoos nest and the shinning- pump up the volume and heathers. Obviously cuckoos nest and the shinning were superior films to those, but there is a trace of greatness in both films to jack's best work.

Once the teen phase with him ran out, he had no roles to play.

Technically it'd be The Contender; obviously he had just a supporting role, but I thought it was an underrated film. I remember how huge this guy was but just never caught a lot of his films or was that impressed.

I guess I'd probably go with Heathers since he was a pretty prescient and fair-handed depiction of a school shooter type.

Hate to say it, OP; but the options in this poll were dreadful.

Val Kilmer as Elvis really nailed it. Not to mention Brad Pitt as the stoner

Uh no... it's Gleaming the Cube!!! Ha... Ok true romance, whatever!! Anyway, why choose slater? We should do a keanu reeves one next, it'll be interesting because all of his roles are pretty much the same :) surfer action Johnny Utah/bill/neo etc.

I liked Heather's. It's really his best performance and were his sinister persona was best utilized. True Romance is a classic but it really is the Quentin Tarantino/Ridley Scott show. Anyone could've played Clarence (Depp, Phoenix Bros, Norton) and you'd still have the same movie.
