give the one off of Highway 6 a try, I will eventually, also there a few chinese buffet restaraunts that have them, like there is one on my side of town here in East Houston that has it included in their buffet.
Anyone here like Thai food? Thai Spice in Rice Village has an awesome buffet. I think it won best Thai restaurant like 2 years in a row in the Housto Press or something.
yeah, magnolia bar and grill brunch is awesome. all you can eat oysters, gumbo, shrimp, etc. all time buffet is in the Flamingo casino in Las Vegas. Prime Rib and King Crab Legs, shrimp cocktail, $14. That's ridiculous.
I love Thai Spice in Rice Village. I go there almost every Saturday for lunch. That is number 1 on my list.
And it is worth every penny....Awesome food. GO there for lunch during the week. I think it is like 35.
I've been to that Hunan II a couple of times. The food was good and the people who ate there seemed...civilized.
I personally think Fogo de Chau is overrated. Ive been twice and each time, I tried dome pepper beef that made me throw up. The rest of the food is really good, but there is one meat, that makes me sick.
Have a light dinner the night before and skip breakfast, and even though the salad bar is pretty good there, don't eat alot of it. Make sure you flip the coaster to the red side while you're pigging out whatever meat you got on your plate, and take your time. And yeah, it's worth it, but it's pretty disgusting the amount of meat available in a roman empire decadent excess sort of way. There's another place called Nelore in the Montrose area that has the same setup but supposed to be cheaper, never been there.
Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood,TX, like a 30 minute drive from Austin. if you've lived in austin, you've probably been there. if not, go, it is definitely worth the drive and $. their ribs are so damn good
I haven't been there either, but friends of mine have, and they say it is less expensive than Fogo and the food is better. I might have to nut up and go for it one of these weekends.
Just got back from that place this weekend for my friends B-Day. Im telling you guys it is incredible. Ive been there 5 times already and the dinner buffet is only 36$!
not to sound non-condescending or nothing like that (triple negative, you figure out my meaning), but you people are fat pigs... ...which is cool with me. I've heard wonders about the buffets in Houston lol
