I eat Kellog's Raisin Bran or Low Fat Pop-Tarts.

    RM95 - 254 is pretty high.

Mine was 225 about 6 weeks ago. I started freaking out. I totally changed my diet and started exercising 4-5 times a week. I have dropped about 26lbs (254 --> 228) so far and hopefully got my cholesterol under 200. :)

Biscuits and gravy...mmmmmm. I could eat biscuits and gravy everyday, if possible.

Luckily I had already started changing my diet. I eat a lot of Subway, haven't had a coke in 12 days, drink a lot of water, haven't had a fast food hamburger in I don't know how long, and I've cut down on my drinking. Exercising comes next. I'm somewhat encouraged that they didn't put me on medication, but I'm not sure how many times they put 25 year olds on medication for something like this. I'm sure they'd prefer someone my age to fix it through diet and exercise.

I'd have to say the chicken fried steak breakfast at Frank's Grill.

Huge CFS, eggs, grits, toast/bisquits, hash browns for under $5...plus its all made from scratch.

Good thing I don't live next to that place :D

I can't remember the exact number, but it was right around there in the 250's. Doctor said to try to diet and exercise and we'd check it again in 6 months. If there was no change, then he might think about putting me on some medication. He said it's possible that it's genetic and that there might not be much I could do about it without medication. I'm 28 and my 21-year old brother said his cholesterol was over 270 when he was in hospital for a hernia operation back in December, so I have pretty good hunch that it is genetic for me.

I got checked in March and when they weighed me at the doctor's office I was 182 (I'm just a shade under 5'9") and this morning I weighed in at 168, so I'm spreading the gospel of the oatmeal diet to anyone who will listen.

That's been the other change to my diet. If I have to resort to fast food, it's either Subway or Wendy's. Wendy's has a good grilled chicken sandwich, plus I get their side salad with low-fat Ranch, which is really good.

I'm listening...I need to lose 20 lbs, so oatmeal will surely enter my diet.

I'm going to lose weight on the deepelllumrocket/Jared plan. :D

Get the Quaker Instant Oatmeal variety pack. That way you can have different flavor every day!

    good point ;)

but seriously, i hate all breakfast food except cereal... which I can only eat late at night... I have been known to scarf down an entire box of "Honey Bunches of Oats" at one sitting late at night while watching TV...

speaking of the job, yes, I WANT ONE! someone hire me... I'll even w**** myself out as anyone's personal apps developer... you want some new app on your PC, call me and i'll be a contractor... just provide the cereal! ;)
