Classics. Sega really brought it hard with the sit down arcades. Good gameplay with good designs This is the version of After Burner they had at my arcade. One of the first games I remember with rumble and shake effects
Yes, much appreciated.. this would be it.. I finally know the name that has eluded me for years.. I played it plenty along with many others already listed here in the 90's... wouldn't have guessed, especially considering the simulator style of play, and use of polygonal graphics, that it was technically an 80's game..
seriously 4 pages in and not a single mention of this (at least from what I have read) y'all are taking this RED NATION thing waaaaaaaaaay too seriously

Xmen (I once saw an 8 player double screen version of this, AWESOME) Sunset Riders Turtles in Time Also any cockpit style drivers/shoot em up machines that were networked together were awesome.
I loved that game. I remember owning guys who were twice my age when I was 12-13. They'd get so pissed.
Totally different. You should give them a try. (I got your email, but I'm about to head to bed. Hope they are the "real" versions, for both of us. Thanks for sharing the info!) <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gumlCZPmNzA&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gumlCZPmNzA&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
