My favorite is Bodies by Drowning Pool...

    Bodies

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
    Beaten why for
    Can’t take much more
One - nothing wrong with me
Two - nothing wrong with me
Three - nothing wrong with me
Four - nothing wrong with me
One - something’s got to give
Two - something’s got to give
Three - something’s got to give
    Now
Let the bodies hit the floor
    Push me again
    This is the end
Skin against skin blood and bone
You’re all by yourself but you’re not alone
You wanted in now you’re here
Driven by hate consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor

Listening to RATM way back in jr. high, we weren't clued in to the issues they were singing about, but we always felt we were being brainwashed anyway. :D

    Cranberry's - Zombie
    U2- Sunday bloody sunday.

And a dutch song. It is pretty old, i think it was from the vietnam war.

    Translation:

    mister president, Goodnight.
Sleep nicely in your beautiful white house.
Do not think too much of all those distant coasts
where your boys stay, solitary, far from home.
Do not think especially of those forty-six deads,
That mistake lately with that bombardment.
And forget the fourth of those ten commandments.
which you as a good Christian certainly knows.

Don't think of all those young front soldiers
solitary dying in the distant tropics night.
sir let all those weak pacifists talk
    Mister president, sleep gently.

Dream of the victory and the triumph,
dream of your beautiful peace ideal which has never been obtained by bloodily assassinations.
dream that this time ,however, you will succeed.
don't Think of all those people who perish
how many women, how many children have been Killed.
Dream that you to the longest end will draw and don't belief a word of all the opponents.

    Bayonets With bloody handles
Stand far from here on your orders on guard
For the glory and honor of the free west.
    Mister president, sleep gently.

Do not get scared to much when in your dreams
You see al the helpless victims
Who died there during the battles
And ask you how long this is going to last.
    You should know by now
That a lot of people are sick of violence
Who will not forget the blood and suffering
And for who a human life still counts

Do not dream to much of all the dead people
Dream nicely of victory and power
Do not think to much of all the peace wishes.
    Mister president, Sleep gently

    Sting- This War

    "........Invest in deadly weapons
    And those little cotton flags
    Invest in wooden caskets
    In guns and body bags
    You're investing in oppression
    Investing in corruption
    Invest in every tyranny
    And the whole world's destruction

    I imagine there's a future
When all the earthly wars are over
You may find yourself just standing there
On the white cliffs of Dover

You may ask, what does it profit a man
To gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his soul?
Is that your body you see on the rocks below
As the tide begins to roll?

And you invested in this prison
From which you never got released
And you may have won this war we're fighting
But would you tolerate the peace?

There's a war on our democracy
    A war on our dissent
    There's a war inside religion
And what Jesus might have meant

There's a war on Mother Nature
There's a war upon the seas
There's a war upon the forests
On the birds and the bees

    There's a war on education
    There's a war on information
There's a war between the sexes
    And every nation

There's a war on our compassion
    There's a war on understanding
There's a war on love and life itself
And it's war that they're demanding

    Make it easy on yourself
    And don't do nothing"

    nice, how 'bout this:

One summer evening drunk to hell
    I stood there nearly lifeless
An old man in the corner sang
    Where the water lilies grow
And on the jukebox johnny sang
    About a thing called love
And its how are you kid and whats your name
And how would you bloody know?
In blood and death neath a screaming sky
I lay down on the ground
And the arms and legs of other men
    Were scattered all around
Some cursed, some prayed, some prayed then cursed
Then prayed and bled some more
And the only thing that I could see
Was a pair of brown eyes that was looking at me
But when we got back, labeled parts one to three
There was no pair of brown eyes waiting for me

And a rovin a rovin a rovin Ill go
For a pair of brown eyes

I looked at him he looked at me
All I could do was hate him
    While ray and philomena sang
    Of my elusive dream
I saw the streams, the rolling hills
Where his brown eyes were waiting
And I thought about a pair of brown eyes
    That waited once for me
So drunk to hell I left the place
    Sometimes crawling sometimes walking
A hungry sound came across the breeze
So I gave the walls a talking
And I heard the sounds of long ago
    From the old canal
And the birds were whistling in the trees
Where the wind was gently laughing

And a rovin a rovin a rovin Ill go
For a pair of brown eyes

    Worldwide bdp are the freshest!
    Worldwide! worldwide! worldwide!

One two three, the crew is called bdp
And if you want to go to the tip top
Stop the violence in hip-hop, y-o

Time and time again, as I pick up the pen
As my thoughts emerge, these are those words
I glance at the paper to know whats going on
Someones doing wrong, the story goes on
Mary lues had a baby someone else decapitated
The drama of the world shouldnt keep us so frustrated
I look, but it doesnt coincide with my books
Social studies when I speak upon political crooks
Its just the presidents, and all the money they spent
All the things they invent and how the house is so immaculate
They paid missiles, my familys eating gristle
Then they get upset when the press blows the whistle
Of course the main profiles are kept low
You temper with some jobs, now the press is controlled
Not only newspapers, but every single station
You only get to hear the president is on vacation
But ehrm, stay calm, theres no need for alarm
You say go back to your mom, and youre off to vietnam
You shoot to kill, come back and youre a veteran
But how many veterans are out there pedaling?
Theres no telling, cause they continue selling
As quiet as its kept, I wont go into depth
You can talk about nigeria, people used to laugh at ya.
Now I take a look, I say usa for africa? !

    Huh.
Whats the solution, to stop all this confusion?
Rewrite the constitution, change the drug which youre using
Rewrite the constitution or the emancipation proclamation
We fight inflation, yet the presidents still on vacation

    Bdp posse!
I say: one two three, the crew is called bdp
And if you wanna go to the tip top
Stop the violence in the hip-hop, y-o

This might sound a little strange to you
Well heres the reason I came to you
We gotta put our heads together, and stop the violence
Cause real bad boys move in silence
When youre in a club, you come to chill out
Not watch someones blood just spill out
Thats what these other people want to see
    Another race fight endlessly
You know were being watched, you know were being seen
Some wish to destroy this scene called hip-hop
    But I wont drop
    Not I or scott larock
Now here is the message that we bring today:
    Hip-hop will surely decay
If we as a people dont stand up and say:
    Stop the violence!
    Stop the violence!
    Stop the violence!
    Stop the violence!
    Stop the violence!

I say: one two three, the crew is called bdp
And if you wanna go to the tip top
Stop the violence in the hip-hop, y-o

    Bdp and me
We step into the party top celebrity
Say when were coming to dance, we never have to pay a fee
Cause thats where we got r-e-s-p-e-c-t
I have this one wife, her name is miss melody
I know Im from the bronx, she from the brooklyn posse
I tell ya look a little like this, then I tell you some that i
Sometimes I got my gear on, sometimes I wear a hat
Sometimes Im in a mercedes and sometimes Im in a plain
Sometimes I find myself upon the number two train
Some people look at me and see negativity
Some people look at me and see positivity
But when I see myself I see creativity
So if I can create, well then I make some money
Sha man, just put your hands up if youre out here gettin paid
Sha man, just put your hands up if youre out here gettin paid
One two three, the crew is called bdp
And if you wanna go to the tip top
Stop the violence in the hip-hop, y-o
