I have never heard of them....but I still doubt they top: "Takk..." -Sigur Ros Easily the best cd of 2005, it's simply amazing
My Favorites of 2005: 1. John Legend - "Get Lifted" - it came out at the end of '04 but an awesome RnB album. 2. Common - "Be" 3. Kanye West - "Late Registration" 4. Damian Marley - "Welcome to Jamrok" 5. Mariah Carrey - "The Emancipation of Mimmi"
wolf parade clap your hands and say yeah animal collective franz ferdinand sigur ros dissapointed with dmb coldplay
You don't listen to much hardcore/metal do you? In no particular order: Between the Buried and Me - Alaska Every Time I Die - Gutter Phenomenon As I Lay Dying - Shadows are Security Minus the Bear - Menos el Oso Darkest Hour - Undoing Ruin Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV Volume 1: Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
Coheed and Cambria has the be the gayest sounding band I have ever heard. They shift the gay music spectrum so far that Maroon 5 is now moderatley gay, Fall-Out boy is increasinly faygeleish, and Coheed and Cambria is flaming, lavender-drapes homo.
How many songs have you heard? 2? They're radio/MTV tracks are completely diffferent from the other 90% of the albums.
"Sound of Revenge" - Chamillionaire "Trill" - Bun-B "Late Registration" - Kanye West "Let the Truth Be Told" - Z-Ro "Thug Motivation 101" - Young Jeezy
Almost exactly, EXACTLY like mine except for #2. I would include Aqualung's Strange and Beautiful, Franz Ferdinand's You could have it so much better. Dissappointments : Death Cab for Cutie and Fiona Apple. I think X & Y is better than Rush of Blood to the Head. The songs are less similar.
I agree with everything you said except about Maroon 5. Chicks dig Maroon 5, and the singer has a good voice so its not unlistenable therefore it is good when you are with sig. other.
Maroon 5 is the bane of all heterosexual existence and only deluded estrogenists would be so easily swayed into a tolerant stance toward such epic cockfloundery.
