Any Asian airline. Good service and good looking young women. Sure beats the old bleached blonde hags and gay flight attendants that work American.
The planes are too old. I like Lufthansa and BA because of their new planes. KLM is slowly getting new jets. But hey, how can you pass up (most of the time) Hot blonde, blue eyes flight attendents. We used to fly Lufthansa, but then got better deals with KLM. I love having my 6hr layover in Amsterdam.
That casino at Schipol is awesome!! My favorite domestic airline is Continental because that's all I fly. My favorite international airline is Emirates.
Just about everything about KLM is horrible. Rude staff, old planes, little legroom, terrible frequent flyer program (at least until recently), bad food, mostly ugly stewardesses (not all). I'd have to say: Singapore Airlines Lufthansa Thai Airways British Airways SAS (has some of the hottest stewardesses) I've also flown: Aegean Airlines Air Berlin Air Canada Air Europa Air France Air One Aloha Airlines American American Eagle America West Augsburg Airways Austrian Airlines British Midland Cimber Air Cirrus Airlines City Air Condor Continental Delta Deutsche BA Emirates Eurowings Germanwings Hapag Lloyd Hawaiian Airlines Iberia Icelandair KLM Korean Airlines Lauda Air LTU Luxair Maersk Air Mexicana Northwest Ostfriesische Lufttransport Southwest Spanair Tyrolean Airways TWA United Airlines US Air Varig Virgin ...and probably a bunch of others which are either too obscure or whose names I have forgotten... In general, I think that service is much better with Asian Airlines than with European or American ones, especially if you fly business or first class.
Thai Airways & Japan Airlines, especially for people like me who have trouble sleeping during the flight.
Qantas, definitely Qantas. It's not close. But since I'm guessing not too many people on this board are going to Australia anytime soon, I'll say my second choice is Southwest.
For those who have flown a lot or know a lot about the airline industry, do you know what American based airlines use Airbus for their transporation instead of Boeing? I think US Airways does or did at one time, but I can't remember for sure.
Bastards! Seriously, all I've flown lately has been Continental, since they are based here in H-town and pretty much fly anywhere. In the past, the airlines I've had the best experiences with have been El-Al, British Airways, KLM, and Alaska Airlines. The airlines I avoid like the plague are United and US Air.
as long as it is not aeroflot(i started a rant thread about them this summer) i'm ok with it. i like the KLM
sorry i do not have a link, and i do not have search function (yet). i think if you search for aeroflot, you will find it. All i can say is: try to go with another organisation, i had some problems with them, and they have a very bad reputation.
Why didnt you put Contine...... just kidding dude. I like American the best. More room in coach (Im not cool enough to fly first class - who the hell has the $$ for that??) and I like the fact that they fly MD-80's over 737's. They are faster, smoother and quieter..... Southwest is ok, but I hate the cattle call seating. Its sucks because I never get an isle seat like I like.... Plus I always feel dirty getting off one of their planes.... Comparing prices, they arent even the cheapest anymore. Most times I can find a better fare on American, Continental or America West, depending on where Im going.
I voted for Nortwest only cause they have always taken care of me when bumped or for other inconviences. A guy I know helped build a Bump Tracking web site. Basically people report the comps they get when they were bumped. It give you a good idea of what to expect when bumped and what you should be asking for.
Manny since I helped you sleep easier last night, I'll be kind and throw you another bone. United, America West, US Air, Northwest and American all use some Airbus, but Northwest just made news a few weeks ago by placing a large Boeing order. Jet Blue uses an all Airbus fleet.
