I voted for the coach, as a catch all and because Morey isn't on the list.
I think coach is one of the primary reasons we got Steve. Definately why we got Brooks. Not to mention Bonzi, who would be elsewhere if Van Gundy was still here.
I think we might have gotten Scola (the player I'm most excited about) with a different coach, but Adelman has that Divac experience coaching big passing Euros, so he gets points for this one too.
As for Mike James, I'm excited about that as well, but more excited to be rid of Juwan's contract.

    Does Daryl Morey Count??!!!

I was looking for an "all of the above" option.

    What a GREAT off season!!!!

I thought about Morey but was thinking since he was sort on the roster last year as basically interim, plus since without him we wouldn't have any of these guys maybe, so thought he would be the clear winner.

I think that Scola is the addition that's most critical to our success, but Stevie is my favorite addition!

I like Francis pick up. My friend said getting rid of Van Gundy and getting Adelman was like a birthday present. I had to agree with him there.

    MJ.

It signaled the end to not only the Juwan era, but the Alston one as well.

It also kicked Morey's butt into gear to try to find a pf and explore as many deals as possible, imo.

    Scola because

    -We got him for nothing
    -He fills a glaring need
    -He has no ego issues

I voted for Francis. It probably wasn't the most important acquisition basketball-wise (that would go to Scola), but it's the most exciting.

Personally, I think Morey at GM is actually my favorite, but it wasn't an option  . The guy is tearing it up big time! Just watching him wheel and deal is more exciting than watching a JVG offense! :)

I picked Scola. I was happy to get Mike James, so getting Brooks puzzled me until we picked up Scola. He really came out of nowhere and cost us nothing. If he can start, he's huge.

I'm intrigued by getting Francis, but damn, he does complicate things. I don't see a real well-defined role for Steve coming in, so I hope Adelman can successfully carve one out for him. Preferrably one that doesn't involve dribbling out the shot clock.

Adelman - I think he was a big reason why we got Francis, James, and Brooks.

Scola is also a nice addition and I think Mike Harris is pretty solid too but probably won't get much playing time in this deep roster.

Francis is easily the most exciting, but my fav is probably Scola. If we didn't already have James, than the Francis move would be even bigger in my eyes.

I voted for Adelman. He was the first big change for this off-season and I really think he is the reason why we have made all these other moves. We don't hire Adelman, we probably lose Bonzi Wells, don't get Mike James or Scola and definitely don't draft Brooks. I think Francis would have probably still come back to us unless we still had Gumby as our coach, lol.

I also voted for Adelman. The dramatic changes to our offensive ferocity is what is going to make a difference next season, and this is gonna come from the coach.

And not just from our new players. Established players like Yao and T-Mac are going to thrive next season because our offense will be designed to accomodate each person's strengths.

I really like all of the moves but I think I am most excited about Scola.
