Whoever A.L. Bailey is, if it's a she, probably sour t*tties that she couldn't get in or dislikes sororities. If it's a he, sour grapes that he couldn't land one of those girls.

Most (not all) fraternities and sororities are primarily social organizations. Why wouldn't they emphasize the social and "sisterhood" aspects of their sorority?
I don't know that I'd call it "offensive" but it definitely isn't a flattering depiction of them. Basically a 5 and a half minute white bimbo recruitment video. I'd wager their national HQ and the AL campus bigwigs don't think too highly of it. But "offensive"? Definitely not.
They absolutely should emphasize it. But there was literally nothing else in the video. Makes the group look pretty damn shallow, no?
Well, it's a public university, and the sorority decided to promote and post the video, so like anything else it's going to come under scrutiny. I think the journalist's views are a bit narrow and wholly misguided regarding the self-awareness and economic, political and societal prospects of moderately-well-to-do youngsters tied to a national network of similarly stationed and educated women, but they're individual expressions of opinion just like those of the adults on that tape. Greek organizations seem to have been getting it from all sides for around the last twenty years. Frat guy is probably the most overused, contradictory and slanderous stereotype around.
