Get over it. There's a double standard. Whee. We like the people we like, we hate the people we hate.

You should know, how is RedState treating Obama?

    Here's a relevant analogy:

Let's say you are at the Special Olympics. An athlete runs a 400 meter race and sets a personal best time of 2 minutes. It is quite an accomplishment for that athlete. That said, it is a very slow 400 meter time. No one would ever dream of pointing this out to the athlete, although the reality is that it's a slow time.

This is analogous to the media's reluctance to criticize Obama's actions. No one is willing to point out his flaws, because it would make them feel bad -- largely because of guilt associated with ancient wrongs perpetrated against AA's. A double standard indeed.

    That is incredible:

    "Blacks=r****ded people" - Trader George

And here I had thought he had totally run out of new ways to prove his racism.

I didn't steal that from Rush, nor am I familiar with Rush ever making that analogy. So stop lying, please.

Obama, on the other hand, did insult Special Olympians when he was on the tonight show. Listen to the tape. NBC even tried to blunt it by cranking up the laugh track to drown it out (note: the laugh track was played at an inappropriate time to help hide Obama's words -- more media shielding going on...). Watch the Youtube clip -- it could be eye opening even for the most loyal Sheeple amongst this crowd.

Oh, silly Bats, coming into the thread in hopes of escalating things... I said it's analogous Batman, not equal. Nice try though.

It would be tantamount to The_Conquistador comparing you to a bad playwright with hair. Analogous, but not equal.

    Bleh.

As with all else, Obama's side wins the polls. Of course, subtracting the 60 or so percent of sheep (independents and dems) yields us a not so ugly 40-52 split.

For the record, I am proud of being a sheep. Messianic symbol of redemption and of selflessness, I think the symbol couldn't be more appropriate. Especially, with, you know, Obama being the Messiah and all.

    HEE HEE HEE

Do you think I'm a "bad" playwright, George? Would you like to debate playwriting now, since the rest of it isn't working out for you?

Or would you like to "debate" my hair? I'm bald. It's working out pretty well for me, so I'm not troubled by it. But if it's bothering you, we can certainly discuss it.

But if you would like to talk about playwriting or my hair (or lack thereof), I'm pretty sure it would be appropriate to start a new thread. You know what would be really fun would be if you would bring back your tired four year old Batman's a drunk callbacks.

Since we all know those are your best anti-Obama points now: Batman's bald, used to drink too much and George doesn't like his plays (though you did say you liked the only one you saw).

I'd love to say you could do better than that, but I know you can't.

p.s. I'm not inventing anything when I call you a racist here. Blacks and women (not to mention Latinos) apparently voted with their emotions, according to you. Which leaves whom exactly? Yes, white males. Everyone else voted emotionally but white males voted with their brains.

    Racist. Misogynist. Homophobe.

Enjoy the past while you can, George. It's fleeting fast.

Isn't it generally regarded as poor form (i.e. Classless and an admission of defeat on the point at hand) to rag on someones personal life (appearance, profession, family) in the D&D?

Must be especially chickens*** when you reveal nothing of yourself and hide behind the anonymity of a computer.

I agree with your rebuke of Batman, who initiated the name calling.

I just didn't get that Special Olympics analogy that TJ made. 'That's a slow time for an athlete' well duh, it's the Special Olympics, what do you think, they would be breaking world records left right and centre? That example didn't even make sense, comparing disabled people to athletes who have far more athletic ability.

I always wondered something about basso and Trader Jorge....but I think it would be too offensive to post even in the DD.
