This is what I love about you Basso......so quickly to use a Youtube video to make a point. Fact is I am in the Military. Have been since 04' and spent 2 tours in Iraq. What those Marines did during Bush's visit was unprofessional and something NEVER done when in uniform. When the Commander in Chief, or any high ranking official/officer enters the room......whether it is for a briefing or a press conference.....YOU STAND AT ATTENTION! It does not matter if it is here in the US or overseas......YOU STAND AT ATTENTION. It is Military customs and curtsies. If you look it up......it is plain as day to understand. Those Marines were a laughing stock when that video came out. Hooting and hollering like that......classless! The one's with Obama did the job right. At attention, till the highest ranking says otherwise. If your going to accuse troops of acting a fool or things being staged......the Bush video is 1000% worse. They should be ashamed of themselves.

i think you've missed my point. no one is accusing these, or any others, of "acting a fool." i'm not even accusing Obama of acting a fool. i am pointing out a double standard, both in the media, and in the treatment of the respective presidents by some posters here.
