Why did he call the cops when he was not high? He should have realized he was going to get in trouble.

Drinking should be a felony for people with kids under 16.

    There.

He heard someone say, "Oh, you've got a baby? I've got one in the oven*! Heh heh."

And he thought to himself: screw that guy. I can put my baby in the oven too.

I'm laughing at all the people asking why the guy would put a baby in the oven after smoking weed and drinking liquor. Oh gee, I have on idea what possessed him to do that.

You are right. He is a model father. Drinking and getting high and putting his own child in an oven.

What did the mother do? Ummm....I don't know....but how about ****ing being aware where your child is at all times?!?!?!

How do we know he won't do the same thing again and maybe worse?

LOL. The dad is distraught at putting his own baby in the oven. As long as he is sorry just let him walk.

He also called a mental health hotline, not the police. The mental hotline called the police.

I agree he does deserve jail time and to have his child taken away from him. Those parents are not fit to raise a child if they do illegal drugs and drink heavily.

Way to take the extreme there. I never said he shouldn't have his kid taken away, and I even said he deserved jail time. Did I say "let him walk?" Definitely not. Also, I don't think it's a crime to go get some sleep when you think your husband would be responsible enough to take care of your child. Whether or not he was is a different issue, but you still can't tell me that she deserves to LOSE her child because she went to sleep for one night. We have no idea what kind of parents these people are normally.....and I think the husband is gonna get punished for this, but I sincerely doubt it's gonna be to your liking, apparently.

The baby was premature at birth and needed a little more time in the oven. Good call by the dad based on solid medical research.

After doing a little private investigation, I found a picture the Dad took before calling 911.
