Father forces son into field, kills him for allegedly raping 3-year-old girl

From my understanding she wasn't physically raped. An exam was done and there showed no signs of sexual trauma so i'm guessing it was some sort of touching that occured. Either this is a sad story all the way around. Things like this are becoming all too common in our society.

This is messed up. I definitely think the father needs to rot, but I can't imagine what must have been going through his head when he found out his 15 year old son just raped his 3 year old daughter.

 

I guess irrational behavior runs in the family. The fact that this man was able to look his own son in the eye, strip him down, listen to him beg for his life, and then STILL pull the trigger makes me feel like he deserves to prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The teenager conducted a heinous act, but what the father did was unforgivable. And like someone else said....rape and molestation are two VERY different things. They are both horrible acts, but one is far worse than the other. I'm not saying the kid should not have been punished harshly for what he did, but for the dad to take things into his own hands like this is inexcusable.

This makes it even sadder since he said he raped her but he really didn't rape her. I guess at his age he thought that touching her was considered rape. I wonder did the 15 year old have any mental problems that was noticeable before all this jumped off.

If he had said he touched her in a way he should not have instead of saying he raped her I'm thinking the Dad would not have killed him. Then again who knows, but this is just sad.

This could also cause a divide in the family.

 

I wonder how the reaction would change if it had been the father doing the inappropriate sexual behavior and the son killing him.

Gotta prosecute dad to the fullest degree here. Beating the kid senseless I can understand but taking him out into a field, making him strip naked and executing him while he begs for his life and your wife watches is just bonkers. There has to be way more to this story than this.

I have a hot, hot temper a less regard for human life than almost anyone I know but even I could not imagine doing this to my own child regardless of what he had done.

What's more sad is that the sexual abuse the little girl endured probably won't bother he nearly as much as knowing her dad executed her 15 year old brother because of it.

This is exactly what I was alluding to earlier. It IS bonkers. As in "insane". As in "not of sound mind and judgment". Based on the facts that have come to light so far, is sounds like perhaps the Dad was temporarily insane.

 

The "way more to the story" here is his state of mind. He obviously is *****in batsh!t, and my money is that he was: a) sexually abused/aubsive/depraved and b) high/drunk/withdrawing.

Insanity defense somewhere here?

 

I think it was yesterday or the day before that BBC radio had a story about chemical castration being used in Canada on a volunteer basis for men convicted of sex crimes. They interviewed one man who was on the drugs and he said he was a completely different person on it. I thought it was interesting that he had a whole game plan for dealing with his pedophilia now that including going immediately for help if he had any struggles and making sure that people in his life knew what he was struggling with and what warning signs to look for. One thing he mentioned was the isolation he felt before, knowing that if he brought it up he would be treated like a monster and not be given help.
That story next to this one breaks my heart. Here is this 15 year old kid who did something (we don't exactly know what) that he is incredibly ashamed of and he tells his family. Yes, I think his parents should have done something like seperate the kids, get help, if necessary help him go to the police - parents are supposed to love you despite your sinr. This story is just going to discourage other young men from seeking support from their families to stop before it is too late.

I mean this guy sounds pretty messed up already, having a 3yr old girl with another woman while he's married with a 15yr old kid.

I dont see anything right in this from the dad. Lock him up! but this boy probably was goin to head for a toubled future anyway. So, someone didnt have to encounter with him.
