I think we are actually doing fine at the moment with what Cat stipulated for the next seasons. I agree that we need clear rules. AndI think that we probably need to start this over with clear rules etcsome time down the line. I hope this happens after we play some seasons first. and I'm not sure we need to start over in a hurry. We can use this as a test thing for 5-6 (if not more) seasons or so. I love the changes I have done to my team, with the picks I have grabbed. And I would really not want that to be canceled out with usstarting over before we have simmed these 5-6 seasons atleast. I also think that when (if) we start over, it will be the new game and everybody will know that in 2-3 seasons we willstart over. What rules do we want then. I might be able to think of some way to implement contracts and free agency. But to repeat - I think what we have now is good - and I really, really don't want it to go away anytime soon. I started a thread to open discussion. if I was just one guy b****ing thannthere wouldnt be 45 posts in this thread in one day it would not be filled with valid opinions. opinions that needed to be adressed. as far as dissing cat, or not caring how hard he worked on the league crap. I bewlive it was me that poated this very concern. I said that whatever is done we need to make sure cat is ok with it as he may not want to work that hard. i dont ask cat for my whole rosters stats every day. I probably stepped over a line, by saying you were b****ing(And I'm sorry if I did), but there is a reason it is called a sim league, because it is a simulation. It can't be totally real, unless The Cat can organize a way that Shaq, KG, Iverson, etc can come to his backyard and play a couple games. But, I still wouldn't go as far as calling it a fatal flaw. Personally, as long as we keep starting the league over about once a calender year(More or less), it will bw fine. I'm ok with the league as it is. The original intention was to make it as close to the NBA as possible. I don't even see why teams should be forced to give up anyone on their roster. Keep it real. I think Live 2002 will take care of retiring and skills diminishing ect. My only concern is how we will do the rookie draft in future years. It seems next to impossible to predict even who the rookies will be. The only solution to that problem is to slow the season down. However, If the season is slowed down then it may take me 10 real years to turn the Cavs around. I'll be bored by then. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
