hahaha I can't believe people are trying to pull the metabolism excuse for someone eating 5500 calories per meal...no ****...no ones metabolism can handle that
To be fair she split the meal with someone. 2750 calories in one siting isn't good for you but lets not make this out to be more than it is.
I'm not fooling myself, and I know that I know a lot more about nutritional science than you do. I also have no problem with whatever weight you want to be. I've seen you comment on it before in other threads and you seem to be happy with how you look, so I could care less. Don't think that I'm picking on you because of your weight with this one, it's because of your ignorance. What annoys me is when people attribute one person being skinny vs. another being fat based on uncontrollable, outside factors by saying things like, "Oh, X-person is only skinny because of their high metabolism...if I had their metabolism, I could be like them!" This is often said under the flawed assumption that whatever your metabolism is, it is something you are born with and can't change. Differences in basal metabolic rate from hereditary factors is not significant enough to make one person fat and keep another skinny, all other things equal. Let me tell you a couple other interesting things that you may not know: Fat people actually have a HIGHER basal metabolic rate than skinny people, all other things equal. You can actually change your metabolism.
yeah, but that means that this freaking Beached Whale ate half of 14 chicken pieces, and 6 bags of fries. SHE BLEEDS GREASE and SALIVATES CANOLA OIL.
Look, arguments aside, did you see the LOOK on her face? Between that and her size, I can't imagine someone wanting to piss that <strike>beast</strike> person off. Of course, she probably couldn't force that look in edgewise while gobbling down the mega-family dinner. Figures that you would go on the defensive and try to make personal attacks. And who ever said I was scrawny? I'm chowing down on a delicious anchovy pizza right now.
Personal attack me??? Just cause you assume you know more about "nutritional science" than me...yet still insist on putting fish on pizza. Laughing out Loud.
I'm not really assuming anything, you have proved in other threads that you don't know much about nutritional science. If you do know more than I do on that subject, then I apologize, but I am under the impression that you don't. Please correct me if I am wrong so that I don't make the same mistake in the future.
O.k. I'll make it easy for you. I don't know, or care to know, much about nutritional science. But you attacked me for saying metabolism is no excuse. I certainly don't need an excuse...as I don't really mind being fat. But I do have a biological brother...same mother, same father...who has the same eating and drinking habits as I do and weighs less than half of what I do. If anything I eat slightly healthier and exercise a little more. You wanna use your vast knowledge of "exercise science" to explain to me how that is without the word metabolism be my guest.
I'm sorry, I should have been more specific in my first post since I know this is a topic that you are passionate about. I didn't mean to say that you, Major Malcontent, were using metabolism as an excuse to why you specifically are overweight. I meant it in more general terms, as in skinny = fast metabolism, overweight = slow metabolism, is just not necessarily true. That seems to be a recurring theme in a lot of your posts when people are talking about weight, and I just wanted to point out the invalidity of your statement. As for yourself and your brother, without knowing more information or asking you a ton of questions, I can't say for sure. If you really do eat the same exact diet (with you potentially eating slightly healthier) get the same amount of exercise (with you potentially exercising more), are of similar age and muscular composition, and and he is not gaining weight, and you are not losing weight, one of the two of you may have a medical condition. If you want, you can get a rough approximation of your and your brother's basal metabolic rate by using this formula: 66.47 + (13.75 x W) + (5 x H) - (6.75 x A) W = Weight in kg. H = Height in cm. A = age.
This metablism stuff is too hard. But 150GBP's for a parking ticket???? $300? I knew KFC was overpriced. Oh....and I would not arm wrestle that woman for chicken.
