At Burger King, The Whopper is a helluva burger, and their $.99 cent dbl cheeseburgers are good, too.

Can't go wrong with a Jumbo Jack, 2 tacos and a side salad for $3 at Jack in the Box.

Taco Cabana has cabana bowls for $3.99.

Whataburger w/cheese combo is always good.

I'm not really a big fan of McDonald's ever since they lowered the quality of their food, and shrank the Big Mac and QPC.

I like a Whataburger once in a while, but I can't stand McD's and Burger King. Every time I go to Burger King (latest for Black STack) I leave disappointed. The burgers taste microwaved to me.

I am a big fan of Wendy's though - especially the spicy chicken.

I'm trying to stay away from the unhealthy stuff though.

Btw, if you are ever in Calgary, you must eat at Peter's drive in. Get a double cheeseburger and a real fruit shake (almost any fruit flavor). They have the best flame-broiled burgers in North America and the shakes truly rock.

    Hey Austinites

Ever been to Burger Tex? That is the tastiest burger around.

I guess Reggie White's rule of "The Asian" applies to fast food as well, cause that is some good stuff.

I never would have thought there was such a significant correlation between Walt Disney and Ray Krok (the guy that started franchising McDonald's)

    More interesting facts:

McDonald's makes more money from the leases on its resturants than from actual food sales

Chicken McNuggets have artificial beef flavor added...This is because McDonald's used to fry all of it's fried items in beef tallow. Then, consumer health groups raised concern about fast food's fat content, so McDonald's switched to 100% vegetable shortening and added an artificial beef flavoring to compensate for the loss of flavor

The chapter on slaughterhouses almost made me puke...

MMM...think I'll get me a grilled chicken sandwich from Whataburger, now!

I don't eat much fast food at all - and I refuse to eat anything from McDonald's.

If I do eat fast food, it's a chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A (where I used to work), a taco salad from either Taco Bell or Wendy's (no sour cream), or a whopper from Burger King (about twice a year).

Otherwise, I'd rather go to a sit-down restaurant or cook for myself. Heck, when I'm in college in Tallahassee, there's nothing better to do!
