Sonic is the only place I know that has breakfast all day long. And damn it, so many times I would go get a shake at McDonalds and they said the machine was broken or being cleaned, that would piss me off.
It is kind of annoying when I order my meatless burger and the person says thing like "Why would you not want the meat? or "Are you serious." or "Okay but it funna taste nasty" People are odd
I've been there when they didn't have chicken for sandwiches, fries, and soft drinks--all at the same time.
God my friend once told me churches has a new chicken sandwich and it was really good. I hate anything dealing with churches. I walk into the ghetto one on main and 610 (dirty main) and I go in there. Two cashiers were talking on their cell phones the entire time being ugly to whoever was Ont he other end. They had no soda, no ice and only warm ice tea. What can kind of crap is that.
Yeah...this happens all the time at the Taco Bell on UT Campus...all the time. Once they actually ran out of beans and meat...WTF? What the hell at taco bell has neither beans nor meat???
i've never worked at a fast food place so i don't know what it involves at closing time. seems like 10 minutes before should be fine considering they don't have to serve and wait on someone till well after closing. if you go to a real restaurant 15 to 20 minutes before it closes and it's practically dead, you're a dick if you stay. that is, unless you plan on tipping for keeping that waiter there. the hourly pay they get is next to nothing so an extra 45 minutes waiting on one table is a complete waste of time. if a restaurant closes at 10:00, i won't go if it's past 9:30.
One hard, fast rule I live by is to never piss off anyone who gets my food before I do. Not that I won't complain, but I'm not b****ing until I've got my food in in front of me.
i agree. breakfast are most of the few food i eat from fast food restraunts. and most of the time, i go to jack in the box, since their breakfast is 24-7
I-10 @ Federal LMAO Just took my niece to get a happy meal @ McDonalds...asked for a kids meal cheeseburger, "plain please". We get home and she opens the wrapper. Two buns, pickles, onions, ketchup, no cheese, no meat.
I go through that drive through atleast once a week since I work near there. I've been to many Popeyes, and that one, by far, has the best chicken. Always hot, freshly cooked and always spicey.
I think the complaint about breakfast hours is wrongly placed at the employees. The change from breakfast to lunch is determined by the food joint and the manager. So don't take it out on the employees. I've worked at resturants before, so I don't normally go to places when they're nearly closed. Believe me, the LAST THING these people want is a customer right before they close, when they've managed to clean up the place, put away the food, etc. Sure, you as a customer has the "right" to demand food. But we're dealing with people(very lowly paid at that) here. When fast food joints start paying them extra half an hour of pay to stay until after they close, that's when these people won't complain about late customers.
I once had this cashier chick crap out the window into my car, all over my window and mirror controls. Needless to say, apple pies for life.
The only time I get upset at any fastfood restaurant is when they do not give me plasticwear when I order to go. Sucks to go grab lunch bring it to work and you have nothing to eat with. Any retail/restaurant that has a closing time all employees will gets pissed when customers come in right before. Heck when I was a manager at Golden Corral I hated customers that came in at 8:55. Everybody stays so it cost's us labor, the waiter might make a buck. So it was no good for everybody. People have lifes outside of work and families to attend to when its close to closing people forget about work and start to plan what to now anything that prolongs them to getting to that will piss them off.
What fast food are you ordering that requires utensils? Go to a restaurant if you want a good salad. Change the closing time. I'm the customer, do as I say. Get a better job or shut up. This is ridiculous--if I come up to the place at 11:55, give me my food...or close at 11:50. As an aside, I'm a really good tipper.
Taco Cabana, Panda Express,Fazoli's to name a few Fine change closing time to 11:50. Same thing is going to happen at 10:45. People might love their work but its still work. Like I said after employees have been at work for 9,10, 11 hours at a time anything that will prolong them to getting home will piss them off. Whats not to understand?
