I agree. Sushi is an acquired taste, but it is incredible. I'm salivating a bit just thinking about it.

My favorites are Nara, Tokyohana, The Fish, and Coco's.

Try Nara's Godzilla Rolls. I believe they do them at Tokyohana now as well.

Freakin' great! They take a regular six piece tuna roll, roll the outside with pulverized fresh jalepeno's, and then top the center with a dash of tabasco.

    Mmmm mmm.

    WHAT!?

No, no way. JCI is one of the greatest fast food places ever. Those cheese conies and cheese fries sooooooo awesomly good.

In-N-Out is outstanding! Whataburger is good, the ones in Texas are much better than the ones in Tallahassee. Krystal is good. The chili cheese fries are great. I will have to try the chili cheese corn pups. Sonic is very good.

This thread has convinced me to try JCI. My Houston friends have always said good things about JCI but I have never tried it.

just ate Krystals for Dinner, damn, not bad at all. My friend and I split a sack combo (12 burgers, 2 medium drinks/fries). Taste like White Castle to me. Good place to go but like a 15min drive from work :(

In-N-Out is getting pricey for their flimsy burger meat. Carl's Jr. still has the best burgers for the buck. I miss What-a-burger though... :(

Haven't you had a slider/slyder? White Castle and Krystals serve tiny hamburgers on dinner rolls.

    6 isn't that big a deal.

I was born and raised on the JCI dogs, but the Lucky Dog from New Orleans is the best hot dog I've ever had. The Cajun dog will make you weep with joy. I would move to New Orleans for those hot dogs alone!

I eat regularly at the only Taco Cabana in Oklahoma :D I would die without it.

Oops nevermind. I didn't know TC was all over OKC. I guess it's the only one in Tulsa.

    Speaking of Mexican Food/Tex Mex...

Here in my town (Western New York), there is only one Mexican Restaurant, and it's simply just a more expensive, sit-down Taco Bell. I always laugh when I hear people talking about how good it is. It makes me sick.

There has been a whole movie devoted to the goodness of White Castle and the best comedy of all time mentions the greatness of In-N-Out burgers.

I have never even heard of Krystals, till this thread. And never heard ot White Castle till that movie.

I was thinking of good sized burgers, like a QPC, or Whooper.

Carl's has that new burger with like the deep fried jalapenos on it. Southwest Spicy 6 Dollar burger or whatever, pretty damn good.

You got that right. I finally visited California last spring and was horribly disappointed. Good burger and all, but it took forever and, relative to the way friends had raved about it, it wasn't anything special.

There's a place here in the mid-Atlantic called Five Guys that's just recently hooked up with some company that's helping them with franchising. They're planning, like, 100 new stores opening in the next year. Blows In and Out away. They're in VA, DC, MD, PA, NC & DE. Should be opening in West Virginia soon.

Yesterday, somone told me there's a Sonic in Maryland. I am so there this weekend. They've run commercials for Sonic up here for YEARS and I've never seen one. It's been like some sort of cruel torture.

I don't know about Lucky Dog (which I'll be looking into on my next drive home), but there's a place in Warren, OH called the Hot Dog Shoppe, that has the best hotdogs I've ever had. What's more, they're 74 cents with chili, onions and mustard.

    Man, I'm hungry.
