I have the same problem, Fatty. I just can't eat the stuff anymore, and the spicy strips used to be my fast food chicken of choice. But I eat it now and wake up in the middle of the night feeling like someone wailed me in the gut with a cricket bat. Funny thing is, I weigh 150 soaking wet... Those naked strips look hellagross.
I discovered Taco Time last week, and I've been going there every other day. It's great! Taaaaco Timmmmeeeeee!!
Man, I love the Krystal burgers! to each their own. I didn't have the Whataburger sandwich. I guess I'll have to wait for the next round. BTW, has anyone had the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch yet? It looks intriguing. And whatever you do, DO NOT get the Extreme Tator Tots or fries at Sonic. Ugh! Basically, it is Chili cheese fries or tots. Then they add onions and jalepeno's and freakin ranch dressing! Talk about gluttonous. The problem is, its taste overload. Just get the chili cheese tots.
My secret to maintaining my skinny figure is 1-2 meals a day and no sodas, only fruit drinks, water, ice tea, or milk. Usually I dont eat sweets, junk food, desert, soda, or fast food. Sometimes when I get sick of eating healthy, I pig out and do all of the above.
There's one in The Woodlands now. Pretty good stuff. Nice burgers and a great variety of shakes. Their fries are bad though.
sad, after reading all this fast food talk at work, i just went to Sonic for a footlong coney for my lunch/dinner.
I've been wanting to try: Whataburger Chicken Pepperjack sandwich JIB Chicken Ciabatta I'm not big on burgers. Although I had a bite of my hubby's Island Fire burger and it was yummy. Pretty spicy!
i have a close friend in NYC who says the hot dogs up there are good...but don't match up against JCI. true???
Speaking of cheese fries, the best chili cheese fries in town are at Papa's BBQ.....you can just feel your arteries clogging up with each bite!
Gray's Papaya dogs are the closest I've found, but close just doesn't cut it. I mean, c'mon, JCI is a freaking institution.
I don't understand the James Coney Island love. Their hot dogs are nasty and the chili is some sort of 29 cent for a 12 gallon can mixture. Almost every hot dog place I've ever been to was better.
Back at ya if you eat at JCI Maybe it makes a difference if you were born and raised on them. I wasn't and can barely choke down the little things. My wife is the same way and neither of us are from the area.
Not sure how often you've gone there, but you're dead wrong. I've brought many transplanted people there. It becomes one of their regular eateries immediately. You and your wife are weird.
