i look at fast food the same way i do cigarettes. i laugh at people that use both of them.

my feeling is that is just one up i have on those people.

go ahead and spend money to get gross disgusting food so it can make your skin nasty, and give you a huge ass. same with tobacco, have at it.

It's the only fast food place I've ever been where I see some seriously cute girls working there. At least the couple I've been to in the Bay Area.

Just having someone from cali fly in with some in-n out is like heaven. a cold in-n-out burger is still better than any other fast food burger.
Damn, i need to get back to the west coast.

    Get a meat-heavy sandwich from ToGo's while you're there.

*sigh* I wanna live in Cali.

Hey dude, another mis-conception about working in fast food. I make close to 7:50/hr, started at 7 an hour. Still the pay sucks, but its a lot better then what most think.

BTW I wish we had a steak and shake, those places rule.. i only see them in the northern states though  :( I dont eat fast food anyways besides the occasional whataburger and steak and shake when im up north

In N Out pays like $9/hr and offers benefits according to little ad at the counter, so that could be one reason.

Blasphemy. Whataburger uses 100% beef, unlike McDonald's, BK and the like.

There are Steak and Shakes in Dallas... they're overrated. Not bad, but not like all the people with "back home" or "way back when" syndrome make it out to be.

I'm still waiting to try an In 'N Out. I have about 3 burgers a year and right now the only fast-food burger I'll eat in Texas is Carl's Jr. Whataburger is overrated - no... wait... Whatburger is nasty. McDonald's - I own the stock, I'll be damned if I eat the burger, though. lol.

Sorry... I can't get past the nastiness of the burger to taste the meat I guess.

(I say this knowing full-well I'm bringing the wrath of Texas' Whataburger fandom....:D)

I know for a fact that BK and Wendy's use 100% beef. McDonald's, on the other hand, used to put a lot of soy in their burgers, but I thought they stopped that practice a few years back...
