Harden could be 13.1 and PG could be 13.2.

if you actually think moreyball is as basic as 5 guys shooting 3s, then understanding the other components that tie into it might just be a bit much.

If we're going to be dreaming, might as well dream about Hayward coming. Move Ariza and the lesser bench guys (Harrell, Dekker, Onuaku, Wiltjer, Taylor) and you should be able to get or get very close to a max type deal.

Then you get to keep EG and Ryno.

We have around $14m cap space. Gallo, Ingles, Snell and Tucker are my targets. Potentially we can afford two or even three of them if we offload Anderson:
    - Trade Anderson for salary space; we will need to give up picks to get this done
    - Give Anderson's money to Gallo (3/60)
    - Majority of the remaining cap to Ingles or Snell (eg 3/33)
    - Sign Nene for another 1 year with whatever is left (not sure if we can use the room exception to re-sign him)
    - If we have the MLE available (around $8m), throw it to a defensive/rebounding PF (eg Tucker).

Capela/Gallo/Ariza/Harden/Bev with Nene/Tucker/Ingles/Gordon/Lou coming off the bench.

George, to what? I dont know. Maybe he'll take DMO's old number, 20.

Damn George here would be great...it's true he said he didn't want to play PF, but tbh we could basically start him at the 3 with Wiltjer at the 4 and than you sub in Ariza to have him (or Harden) guard the opponent 4, problem solved...i mean, it's really not a problem in the end, he probably was against playing full time the 4 on both ends for the Pacers which is understandable.

As for getting this done well, that's another story obviously...i still think both Morey and Ainge will wait to see what Hayward does first, if you can sign him without giving up assets that's the best deal, even if George is the better player pound for pound, he's not that better to be worth multiple picks and/or players imo.

Also, he would've to be clear that he wants to be here and that he's willing to sign an extension.

About the potential package i don't know, but if Bird doesn't want to go into a full rebuild (which is possible), maybe a package like Ryan, Gordon, Dekker could be a pretty good start...

Bird is the one who wanted to fire Vogel to start playing a different kind of game, he should be ok with Ryan next to Turner imo.

Gordon is an Indiana guy, and he's doing good so far in the playoffs, in that role they have Monta which is really bad, Lance which is...Lance...Gordon has a good salary overall so...might be interesting for them.

They should also like Dekker as a project to replace George in the long run.

In the end i mean, a starting five like:

    Turner
    Anderson
    Lance/Dekker
    Gordon
    Teague

shouldn't be bad in the east.

Again, not saying this package would get it done (hell, take back Monta too if that would make the deal sweeter for them..or not? Lol), maybe/probably not, but it might not be as bad as we think -> if George wants to be here and/or Bird wants to be still competitive as soon as possible obviously, because if not we have no chance to outbid other teams.

I'd love for George to be here, but this really isnt happening. Secondly, he isnt a free agent..as the the OP's title. The Rockets should really go hard and pursue Gordon Hayward this offseason. He would be a terrific addition to this team.

Yeah, Ingles is an intriguing guy that might be more obtainable than big names like Hayward. I haven't seen him play a lot but he's good at 3's and defense and can play SF (i.e., put him in when Ariza's struggling).

What will Bulls do? Because Mirotic has been on DM the GM's radar in past and moveable in ChiTown's eyes in past season.

What % chance DMo could return?

I'd not be shocked at Olynyk coming in; C's will be dealing and KO could get KO'd. He'd fit in DMo role.

Where will Griffin land and how will that affect Rox?

I'd love Hayward to take Ariza's place, but the cost would be enormous. I don't see how the Rockets fit him in under the cap. He'd be perfect on this team though.

We don't have a bad contract on the roster. We can move essentially anyone for assets or at least minimal cost. If we want to sign Hayward and he wants to be here, we can easily make it happen

I don't know if I'd agree with that. We could definitely move Ariza and Lou if we had to clear capspace. Anderson would be a bit tougher though. 3 years remaining at 60+ mil ain't as bad a contract as it once was and he's not a scrub(well, at least prior to this series), but there aren't gonna be too many teams eager to take on that deal. Morey would have to work the phones hard to clear that one off the books.

I remember Hennigan saying that he could move Biyombo "fairly easy" if he wanted so, assuming this is true (which might not be though), i see no big problems in moving Anderson eventually.

why is everybody acting like paul george is a FA this off season? pacers still have him under contract 2017-18 season and player option on 2018-19 season. with that being said, no love for ibaka? old teammate for harden.

Because there's a very big chance they trade him this summer since he won't probably stay after next season.

In fact they already had talks with other teams in February for a potential trade, they know he's 90% not staying there.
