Probably something you should keep to yourself. I didn't even join until after I got married. Luckily, I have a wife that has learned to deal with my infatuation with the Rockets, Astros, & Texans.
If you think you have to change to get married then you probably shouldn't be getting married. She either loves you the way you are or you're in for a lot of stress. Not that you don't change as a married man, you do. But it's a slower more organic adaptation, like getting older. Kids definitely force you to change but they aren't the ones making the choices. What is she going to change? (besides her sex drive)
I don't think it's possible to quit cold turkey like this. If you can, you are a stronger man than I. It's one thing to quit posting, but to quit lurking is another thing. Frankly, I don't see the harm in visiting your friends through this medium. Good luck.
Congratulations, Kim! Best of luck to you in your marriage and post-BBS life (however long the latter may last ) If some of you can't empathize with Kim's feeling like the bbs is influencing or could influence the quality of his relationship with other people in his life, then you're in denial. Or you don't post enough. With regard to Kim's coming back, the random keys thing sounds pretty effective. I'm not sure how Kim could come back without starting fresh (unless he intentionally didn't delete his cookies.)
Kim, buddy ole pal, there are many married people here who post alot. But if you don't post again, have a good life. I must say one thing though. I plan on getting married one day, i hope, and my girl will have to accept that I am going to watch the Rockets a lot, visit this website a lot, and perhaps even watching some old games sometimes. if she don't like it, sheeee's outta here!
Congrats, but I'm not sure what being a member of the BBS has to do with you being a responsible husband...In fact, by hanging out here and learning new things, you avoid going to the strip clubs...Good luck...
