You know what, Houston desperation and are blinded by the fact that they are just prolonging their rebuilding process. Howard isn't good enough to make Houston the next Spurs, OKC, or the Lakers in the Western Conference. With the bad contracts they will be receiving from the Orlando Magic, the Rockets will be a bunch of Magic players with no PG. Probably an even worst 2012 Orlando Magic team.

So after Dwight Howard leaves the Rockets in the summer of 2013, the Rockets will be like the Orlando Magic team without Dwight Diva Howard but with no young prospect, no cap room and probably no lottery picks. After this trade, the Magic will be better off than Houston in the long run. They will have all the Rockets young prospect who will improve, they will have cap room because Houston is a dumping ground for their bad contracts, and they will have a good lottery pick because they are rebuilding the right way instead of going for the home run like the Houston Rockets.

If Houston was wise, they would not trade for Howard and just rebuild their team the right way. I mean they have lottery picks, young and very impressive prospects, and cap room. If they just stick to what they have, they can improve their young ones, they will be pretty bad but they will have a top 5 lottery pick of their own plus the Toronto lottery pick. The fans will support a group of young hard working players that will fight hard every game than a big diva who doesn't even want to be in Houston in the first place. At the end, Houston is the losing team while Orlando is the winner. The Magic knows how desperate Morey is so they are just milking as much as they can from Houston and I would not be surprise if Morey just handed everything from the entire team, the keys to his house and his wife over the the Magic for Howard and a bunch of bad contracts that will haunt the Rockets later.

Basically Howard came to Houston only to be playing with his old teammates. I mean what is Houston thinking that they can convince convince Dwight Howard to stay here when this team doesn't even have anybody. All Howard is playing with is a bunch of old players from Orlando, no good enough PG to distribute him the ball like Jameer Nelson, a bunch of Forwards, no decent wings because they all went to Orlando... Houston is a mess for the next few years. That desperation on Morey will come back and haunt him for years to come.

Morey's obsessiveness for Howard has become his weakness. He knows Dwight Howard will not resign with the Magic so he should use that leverage on them but instead the Magic is using the leverage on Morey because of his obsessiveness and desperation. Its almost embarrassing for the Rockets. The Magic would sooner or later become desperate and panic when they cannot trade Howard and get anything in return for him so they will trade him for basically nothing at the end. But it seems that Houston is panicking and desperate instead of the Magic.
