Were you the first to take a QB?

Yeah. I always get stuck with a glut of good RBs and a shortage of reliable WRs it seems. So I usually try to package an RB for a WR upgrade.

I just tried to package Favre and Sims-Walker to somebody in return for Cutler and Steven Jackson. Think that's fair? Cutler is their starting QB.

I also am tempted to offer someone else Favre and Sims-Walker for Joe Flacco and Mendenhall or Piere Thomas.

I'm hoping to pull off the Jackson deal first though, and if that fails, going to Plan B with Mendenhall.

If you got Pierre Thomas, you'd be set to rape some monkey butthole.

    You think so?

I'm bigger on Mendenhall than Thomas, especially since the Steelers will have no choice but to run with Ben R. doing time.

I could also trade Favre and Thomas Jones for Flacco and Mendenhall or Pierre.

I know you young cats like to try and get an up and coming back, but Thomas is going to be suited for a much better year than Mendenhall. You likely aren't going to get much from him at all until Big Ben comes back. Its not just that, its the opening Steelers schedule which is pretty brutal.

You're in a position to need a guy who is going to carry the load from your RB position if Ryan Mathews has some rookie issues out of the gate. Pierre Thomas is the guy who is going to be a consistently good performer. He will almost certainly score 12 TDs.

I also wouldn't touch Steven Jackson with a 10 foot pole. Talk about a guy who had so much talent but was always stuck with one of the worst offensive lines of all time. The Rams are going to be brutally bad this year, and I don't think Jackson will be able to hold up.

    Allright then.

Here are the two teams I'm trading with.

Cook me up a deal they can't refuse.

I'm looking to score an RB and jettison Favre, and both of them need QB or WR help, obviously.

    Team A:

    1. (RB) Ray Rice
    2. (RB) Rashard Mendenhall
    3. (RB) Pierre Thomas
    4. (QB) Joe Flacco
    5. (WT) Antonio Gates
    6. (WT) Chad Ochocinco
    7. (WT) Pierre Garcon
    8. (WT) Tony Gonzalez
    9. (WT) Wes Welker
    10. (WT) Antonio Bryant
    11. (DEF) San Francisco
    12. (K) Nate Kaeding
    13. (WT) Golden Tate
    14. (WT) Jacoby Jones

    Team B:

    1. (RB) Frank Gore
    2. (RB) Steven Jackson
    3. (QB) Jay Cutler
    4. (WT) Calvin Johnson
    5. (RB) Beanie Wells
    6. (WT) Steve Smith (nyg)
    7. (WT) Dwayne Bowe
    8. (RB) Jahvid Best
    9. (DEF) Green Bay
    10. (WT) Jermichael Finley
    11. (RB) Montario Hardesty
    12. (RB) Ahmad Bradshaw
    13. (WT) Lee Evans
    14. (K) Rob Bironas

Yeah I'll cook you up some crack son.

You need Pierre Thomas, but you can also score yourself a Pierre Garcon, another highly productive player in a high scoring offense. This is a very overlooked strategy, but can be highly effective.

You offer him Favre and Mike Sims-Walker, just to see if he's an idiot but I'd hold onto DeSean Jackson, even over Roddy White.

Karl Kold is gonna light it up.

My bid for SJax got shot down.

    Trying this trade now.

    Brett Favre
    Thomas Jones
    Mike Sims-Walker

    for

    Joe Flacco
    Pierre Thomas or Rashard Mendenhall
    Jacoby Jones

I'm high on Jacoby this year, plus his returning yards and tds make him a big value in my league... I am super low on Thomas Jones and Sims-Walker... but they are perceived as fairly valuable in my league, hence the trade.

    Any suggestions?

With the Colts offense, should Dallas Clark be looked at like you're actually getting another wide receiver and not a tight end?

Clark is basically the Colts Wes Welker, with more red zone targets.

Would be a good trade, I took a last round flyer on Jacoby myself.

I changed it up a bit.

    B. Favre
    T. Jones
    D. Avery

    for

    J. Flacco
    P. Thomas
    J. Jones

Favre is worth a hell of a lot more than Pierre and Jacoby's worth compared to Thomas and Sims-Walker, so I took out MSW and put in Avery to even it up a bit.

Is this guy a fellow Cougar? Because I doubt he's going to care much about Donnie Avery, I think you're going to have to include Sims-Walker. You're already stacked at wideout.

But who knows, maybe he'll fall for it when he sees Favre.

Considering this guy has tons of decent WRs already, Pierre is his 3rd RB, and QB is his weakest position, he shouldn't hesitate at a chance to trade his backups to me (Pierre and Jacoby) to me for a Top 5 QB. If he balks, he's a r****d. And yeah, he's a fellow cougar, but he wouldn't know Kevin Kolb if he got stabbed by him with a wild pig hunting knife.
