In all of this talk about the various fantasy basketball leagues we are competing in, I thought this would be a good topic to bring up to help each other out in the coming year. Who do you guys think will be the big sleepers of this year? The guys like Croshere and Nowitzki, who few at this time last year really knew? Also, please try and stay away from the very obvious, such as Rashard Lewis. Just talk about a couple of guys you know of that have an opportunity to surprise a lot of people this year. (big minutes, starting role, etc...)

I'll go ahead and start with my one primary sleeper: Chucky Atkins. He was the spark plug on the Magic team last year off the bench, scoring about 10 a game and dishing 4 assists in just 22 minutes. He had some absolutely huge games down the stretch. This year, he will be the starter in Detroit on a team in desperate need of scoring with Hill and Laettner gone. 15 points/7 assists per game is not out of the question IMO.

    Others to watch:

    Jason Terry
    Bryce Drew
    Mikki Moore

I agree with you on Drew because in Chicago he should get a chance at playing time. The Bulls head coach I believe is BJ Armstrong.

The Bulls head coach is Tim Floyd (from Iowa St.). Armstrong may be an assistant or have another role somewhere in the organization.

As always, Bo Outlaw. Also, Keon Clark, Raef LaFrentz, Brent Barry (at least for stretches) and...Hakeem! Yes, he will definitely still be worth a roster spot. For steals and assists, go with Speedy Claxton.

Grab Lamar Odom while you can. He's gonna put up monster stats this season. With Mo T and Derek Anderson gone, he's undisputably the Man on that team. He'll score, pass, and rebound the ball like crazy.

Ceballos could score alot of points on the offensively-challenged Pistons.
