To me it's impossible to pass up, but I just wanted to see your thoughts. I trade- Aroid and Ludwick for David Wright and Ryan Braun. The stats are almost identical, save for me losing OPS, but I can't see me passing this up. Any thoughts on this one? BTW- Wright was a first round pick and Braun a second rounder by the other team. I picked up Alex in the sixth and Ludwick in the seventh. I also have Pujols as my first pick #3 in the first round. So sweet.
I would think something fishy was going on if I saw that one go through. I mean, it's basically two top ten picks for a fifth rounder and an eighth rounder.
Yeah, it was offered to me. The guy wants Arod, but I've put it up to a league vote. I haven't accepted and if they say nah, I'm gonna void it as much as it hurts me. I'm the commish and I don't want these guys thinking I'm doing something to cheat. At least the guy who offered is pleading his case hard so they know I was the one who was offered the trade. Dude only made the second half of the draft and is a huge Yank fan.
