I see fadeaway found the quotable section of the lineup page. WARNING: If you set your starting lineup, then go back to the lineup page to make a change, even to change your quote, and enter your password, you MUST reenter your lineup. Otherwise, it thinks you have changed your lineup to include nobody, or to include only the changes made.
BUT, if you do make a mistake, I can edit lineups after the deadlines for submission (Noon on Monday and Friday), then re-calculate totals. But get it right the first time to avoid the appearence of improprieties.
Ok, I have a question. I noticed fade's lineup has 5 OF's and no utility inf. Is this legal? I know we start 4 OF but is the utility position open to an OF as well?
Yes. Two things...1)in order to get a UT position, I had to allow all hitters eligible, not just infielders. 2)The UT position, when setting your lineup, works fine, but shows up in the matchup page at his default position. I'm trying to get Fanstar to clarify that. If you see Mo Vaughn at UT for me, it's because I changed his Default position to UT.
Damn I wish there was an edit. Just to clarify, ANY multi positional player can be set to any position he is eligible for, but will show up on the matchup page at his default position. Again, I'm trying to get FAnstar to fix that.
And before anyone points it out, the minimum # of starters at each position is not working. I've emailed Fanstar. For example, Smeg only has 3 OF's in his starting lineup. He could slip an 8th pitcher in there that way. I have 4 set as the minimum for outfielders, but obviously it is not working.
Bob, do you want me to change Klesko's default position to 1B? Will you play him more there or in the OF?
