Personally, I think it's the name. It's hard to respect a pitcher named "Elmer". But he doesn't make mistakes, doesn't throw a lot of pitches, works deep into games...if the D-Backs can score a few runs for him (always a questionable proposition), he could win 15 games.
I didn't question not knowing anyone. I think you are talking about fade. He is pitching good, but is not 4-0, at least not according to mlb.com. Colon is at the top of the league leader win list with 3.
My bad, I thought it was you who posted this on our message board: SF3: Tim Wakefield Fadeaway: Matt Anderson Behad: Elmer Dessens (who?) Pimp: Bradon Looper Cat: Joe Crede Smeg: Kevin Mench (?) Smeg: Casey Fossum Cat: Rodrigo Lopez Pimp: Carl Crawford (Cindy`s brother?) Behad: Kip Wells Fadeaway: Joe Mays As for the stats: http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/s...tegory=p_win&league=al&team=ana&Submit=Submit
Interesting pick. Even while pitching at infamous Coors field, Jennings had a pretty good year. If he gets traded, he could be a steal.
Sorry Fellas, been messing with my new fish. Here's a pic, not him of course but one like him. Pick coming
