BobFinn is not on the BBS. We may be done for the night. fadeaway, one more question for the commish: How many hours should a player stay on waivers before someone else can claim him? 24? 48? 0? We have to put some hours in there to allow for new players coming into the league. Remember the Mark Prior frenzy last year?
Another question: I think I asked this before, but I forgot what we decided. I know we want two games a week, but do we want double headers against the same team, or a new opponent each game? I vote for a new opponent each game.
Larson on third Brandon Larson is expected to play third for the Reds this year, with Aaron Boone moving to second base, writes John Sickels.
He didn't play 15 games anywhere. He has to be labeled something. Since he is labeled a 3B, he is not eligible for the OF, unless he plays 15 games there.
My bad. I saw him listed as an OF and didn't bother to check how many games he played at that position.
Ok, schedule is complete. 50 games will put us up to Sunday, September 21. This leaves us with exactly 7 days left to the MLB season. Do we split those last 7 days into two games (or levels) of playoffs, or have a single level of playoffs with 7 days to score points? (Or play a game 51, with a playoff game of only 3 days?) I prefer a single level of playoffs with 7 days to score points. So many MLB teams juggle their pitching that last weekend to get ready for the playoffs, or use scrubs if they are out of the playoffs.
Also, you guys look over the schedule and check for mistakes. One thing this software does NOT do is make a schedule for you. I had to manually create it and manually enter it. My eyes starting getting blurry around week 40 or so.
