    Interesting conundrum.

Though I am wary of his run support, I shall take the venerable and consistent - Greg Maddux.

SF3, I didn't miss your Oswalt pick if you are looking for him on your team page. He was listed as a relief pitcher, so I switched him to starter. When I did that...he disappeared! He is lost in the system and I have to get the programmers to fix that.

That I didn't even notice.. what I have been wondering about though:

On the rules page it used to say pitchers earned 1 point per inning pitched, now it says 3 when I refreshed it a few minutes ago. I assume the usual 3 per inning, or 1 per 1/3 per inning pitched is going to be the final scoring?

When I saw the 1 per inning at the beginning I was looking at how many points some of the pitchers from last season would have earned with that system and was very reluctant to take Oswalt. Fortunate that I did if it's 3 though.

I thought it always said 3 points per inning. I typed that out myself. Hmmm...

Yeah, the 1 point per inning pitched was a typo. 1 pt. per 1/3 inning pitched, or 3 pts per inning is the correct scoring.

Will it score like last year? 5 2/3 innings would be 17 points? Or would it be 15 for the 5 innings and 0 for the 2/3 of an inning (since the 2/3 is not a full inning)?

It looks like we are done until tomorrow morning. PSJ said he wouldn't be back on until then and didn't want to leave a list because it would give away his strategy for the rest of the draft.

I would guess 15, but it's hard to say for sure. There doesn't seem to be an option for points per out so 3 points per inning is the best we can do.

Well, there goes my balloon. I was going to take Mussina. Now I'm going to be forced into a pick. I'll take Mark Prior.

It's too early in the draft to be forced to take a pick.
