GOOD NEWS! I got the multi-position thing worked out. After the draft, I need everyone who has a player who is multi-positional eligible (check here http://www.fantasysportscentral.com/baseball/gamesplayedbyposition.asp?gp=2002 , must have played 15 games in a position last year) to send me that players name so I can ensure he is listed in both positions on your lineup page. I had to make a compromise to get it to work that way: We no longer have a UTIL IN position, but rather a UT position, that all IN's and OF's are eligible for. fadeaway, is that ok? It is the best and simpliest solution for both the owners of the multi players and keeping the commish from having to do the work. For example, click on Bob's Pythons page, then click on "Lineups". You'll notice Ryan Klesko is listed as a 1B, an OF, and a UT player.
One more thing. We have a DH position listed, but that is temporary. It's there because some players are only listed there (Frank Thomas, Raul, Ibanez, etc.). Once they are drafted, I'll put them in another position and then before the games start, I'll eliminate the DH spot. Also, the 3 games played before March 31 MUST be included. We don't have a choice. They will be part of Game 1.
More on the multi-positional thing. Just like Sandbox, some players are NOT listed in multi-positions because they have not become eligible in thier new positions. For example, Craig Biggio is not listed as an outfielder because he did not play 15 games in the outfield last year. How did we handle this last year? Is PSJ forced to play him as a 2B until he comes eligible, or are we going to manually change him before then?
Biggio would start off the season as a 2B. After he accumulates 15 games at OF, he gains OF eligibility as well, but he starts off as just 2B. Everything else sounds great, Behad. Having a utility_anyone instead of a utility_infield is no big deal and is a small price to pay for functional multi-position players.
I agree. This is just like last year, and much easier on us. And it lets SSG off the hook for not reading the other thread concerning MP players. LOL
I've been checking a bunch of the MP players, and they all seem to be correct. SSG's Mark Bellhorn is listed at 1B, 2B, 3B, and UT. If you find a discrepency on a player you think should be MP, go ahead and email me and I'll fix it.
Between this quote, your team name, and your complaining about lack of money, I believe you have real issues with the establishment. Just go along to get along, ok?
What does it matter anyway? If SSG is actually using Mark Bellhorn in his lineup, he is in deep trouble. I can sum up Mark's season in one word: FLUKE. You all may resume your regularly scheduled b****ing now, thank you very much.
Where the heck is Poodle fur? Now that we have all the kinks worked out, we need to get this party started!!!
