I dunno. The way this draft has been going, I wouldn't be surprised if he lasted until the 20th round. Everyone has pitcher-phobia this year.
gotta go out and do a few things on and off today (saturday) but won't be more than an hour at a time, also am ready to pick
Castor -- you have to leave lists if you aren't going to be around. It isn't fair for you to hold things up all the time, dog.
Hey Dawg, two of my long times were, as I stated earlier, in the middle of the night, and today I was unexpectedly called out of town. If you wanted people to pick within 5 minutes after someone else then you should have set that as the time limit. BTW, I picked Ryan Howard and my time wasn't up when I did it.
If everyone took 7-10 hours, we would be well into April before it finished. I also stated previously here (and it is currently posted on the main site) that "if you are going to be away from your computer for a lengthy period of time, you are EXPECTED to send a list of players to someone so they can pick on your behalf." I just don't think it's fair for the others like smeg, jent and others who consistently make an extra effort to leave lists when they are away, even before going to bed. But whatever. It's not a huge deal, so that's the last I'll say about it. Everyone else has been pretty good, so we can live with one slow drafter. There's no need for the attitude either.
And had you not added dog at the end of your post, you would have gotten no attitude. But like you did last year, when I was at the hospital with my son, you complain today for something that was beyond my control. So that it is known, I had to drive to Houston for work. I didn't have the luxury of telling my boss to wait 20 minutes while I crank out an email about who I want to take in the ClutchFans baseball draft.I'm prettty sure(but not positive) when my picks have come up during the day, I have been pretty prompt in picking (excluding today). But whatever, from now on I'll just copy about 5-6 of the next guys on the overall list and send them to someone. Whether I would pick them or not.
I don't know why you equate "dog" with being something negative. Especially when I meant it in a good-natured way, completely opposite of what you interpreted. Weird.
Sorry If I misconstrued how you meant it. I took it as being said snidely. Sorry for any confusion, it's been a long day.
