will check back later before i go to bed, in about 5 hours time... if not will try to send Bob a list
Okay. Here's how it's going to work. 1. Stack is eliminated. Also, Sean has graciously bowed out. That leaves us with ten teams. 2. I don't think it's fair for everyone to lose their first round picks, so this is what will happen: - the first four picks (up to Sean's) will remain unchanged - the draft will restart with The Rook (the first team after Sean). He will have the option of either staying with his original pick (Santana) or taking Mark Teixeira (Sean's pick). The teams after will follow suit. They can either stay with their original picks or take the player that the person before them gives up. We're doing it this way because I don't think it's fair for the teams at the lower end to get their picks stolen due to a crappy situation like this that is beyond their control. This way, Teixeira gets thrown back into the pool and nobody will get their first round picks taken away from them. Is this clear to everyone? If there are any questions, let me know. The Rook is back on the clock. Again, his options are Teixeira or Santana.
Go ahead give me Texaria, and put Santana back in the pool.... I hate to do it, and probably will regret it, but thought I would make things a little more interesting (also helps to know Santana is off to a bad start this spring...)
One thing, if Sean wants to remain in it, I do have a good friend of mine that is not a member of clutchfans, but would be willing to join to keep it at 12......but if we want to leave it where it is now, that's cool too...
Very well. Castor is up now. His choices are David Ortiz or Johan Santana (given up by RBall). Thanks for the offer, but let's just leave it at ten. The site has already been modified and there's no sense messing everything up again. Also, the draft is working, so everybody please make picks on the site too since PSJ doesn't have full access to the BBS.
I think we all know there's a 100% chance that Phi will still want to take a pitcher, so I'll just give him Carpenter again. Sam is up. Either Jason Bay or Manny Ramirez.
I took Roy Halladay and Mark Prior. Sam is up again. The draft is now caught up. People can take whoever they want.
What can I say. I disagree with most pitcher rankings this year. Also, when you're at the bottom of the order, you have to take some calculated risks. Plus, no way were either of those guys making it back past PSJ down to me in round 3.
