Jent, Describe your pick. We'd be interested to hear why you selected Kevin Brown. I was very tempted to draft him or Maddux. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I wouldn't say that Brown was in any way a head and shoulders pick above Maddux. Last year, Brown wasn't near as dominating as he had been in the previous two years with the Padres, yet he still only had one less win than Maddux. Both their ERA's will hover around the low three's, both will throw around two hundred innings a season, but Brown gets the slight edge in being a strikeout pitcher (earning a few extra points everytime he takes the monund). And on a completely unrelated note, I had Maddux on my squad last year, so I wanted to change things up a bit. ------------------
