Alright, I'm packing up the computer now and will be offline until the 4th or 5th of September. Behad will be the commish while I'm gone and Bob will be running the Expos. I should be back before the playoffs start (God willing). Here's how they will work: Playoffs Playoffs will start on September 6th. Six teams will make the playoffs. Each division winner will get a bye: First round of playoffs (BYE for Div. Winners): Monday, Sept. 6 - Sunday, Sept. 12 Second round of playoffs: Monday, Sept. 13 - Sunday, Sept. 19 Our world series: Monday, Sept. 20 - Sunday, Oct. 3 There will be no game limits for the playoffs. Instead, teams will start any 5 SPs and any 2 RPs for each round. You will set your lineup at the beginning of the week (Monday) and it will carry through until the end (Sunday). If some of your SPs pitch twice during that week, then consider yourself lucky. There are no game limits. The world series will be treated as two seperate week-long game periods that will be added together in the end. For the teams that do not make the playoffs, and those who get knocked out in the first or second rounds, matchups will be arranged to determine the final standings. I will see you all in September.

The site is back up. Be sure to have your lineup changes here. I'm watching the Texans, will update at halftime.

I just realized my team moved into playoff contention last week. Can the SteamRollers hang on to the fifth seed?
This is the first time I've had extended time on my computer. I'm in the process of moving and I'm presently living out of a hotel. I'll hopefully be set up by next weekend. In the meantime, Fade can take off points for the RP limit I apparently went over on (shouldn't matter too much except the overall scoring since I lost). You probably should also take my RP out of the weekend scoring. Thanks.
No jent, you didn't go over....yet. You had one game left, which was Cordero's appearance last night. Any RP games from this point on thru the weekend will not count. Beginning with Monday's match, do not use any RP's. Not that any of this matters. You have clinched the top spot in the West, unless you lose the last four games and Finn wins all four, while making up 900 points on you. Doubtful. Congrats, cj
maybe not after Pimp's explosion on you today.... looks like the Aliens will win, but the Pythons lose

<u>Games Used through week 41 (Max: 142 SP, 122 RP)</u> The Aliens: 132 SP, 117 RP Utilities Steam: 131 SP, 119 RP Jent`s Llamas: 134 SP, 122 RP Pythons: 137 SP, 107 RP DarkHorses: 126 SP, 114 RP PhiSlammaJam: 122 SP, 106 RP Capitol Hitmen: 131 SP, 107 RP Fade`s Expos: 134 SP, 117 RP Song`s Tools: 132 SP, 107 RP Monkey Drums: 130 SP, 109 RP Smarmy Gits: 127 SP, 119 RP DV`s Dynamos: 108 SP, 112 RP jent, you're done with RP's. I lowered your "Points For" total by 12 to reflect the extra RP game you got this week. Now you are only leading the division by 870 points instead of 882. ...EDIT: I took Cordero out of your lineup. Any further changes need to be made by you, either on the site or here. Smeg and Behad have 3 RP's left Finn with 5 SP's left
Dayum, SSG started the entire starting staff against me and lost. Kerry Wood's craptitude helped alot! With SSG's loss, and Fade's win, the WC race is pretty much over. And Bob*'s loss sealed the division for Jent. Right now we're looking at West) Jent (bye) (clinched) East) Pimp (bye) (clinched) WC1) Finn WC2) Sammy WC3) Behad WC4) Fade
I can't find the post that defines the playoff format, but are the wildcards from the top records of both leagues, or 2 WC's from each division? It should be the best records overall, so as to not penalize the stronger division Anyone?
This is the playoff format we decided upon: SmeggySmeg i like the top 6 idea.... division winners get bye, rest of playoff team based on record independent of division 3 v 6 4 v 5 then winners play division winners in semis, with winners progressing to world series Here is the entire thread: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73644&perpage=30&pagenumber=1
Cool, then the playoffs are almost set. Only the Tools have a very slim chance of catching fade. Playoff seeding, however, is still up for grabs.
Actually SSG can't catch fade. We only have 2 games left in the regular season. We won't play week 44 (fade forgot to account for the all-star game when the schedule was made out) fade- 22-18-1 SSG- 20-21 The playoff teams are set. Jent Pimp Finn Sam Behad fade
