    In response to the trade...

    Sam is right, I was in desparate need of a catcher. I'm not sold on Boone's health, and Brian Roberts has been a big surprise, not to mention Adam Kennedy has been decent. I knew he wouldn't do Piazza for Boone, so I offered him the best player. Nathan has been playing well so I took a chance. I wasn't using Boone so I thought of it more as Gagne for Piazza/Nathan.

    Maybe a poor decision but it was a gamble. You have to take chances when you're in the cellar.

    I think you could have gotten Piazza and Nathan for Gagne .... that's all I'll say on the matter as I seem to be the only one with anything to say at all.

    Just looked thru their respective numbers and if everything holds to form and they keep up their numbers as they are now then yeah maybe it's an ok trade.

    Lol, you guys are a bunch of backseat drivers. I've been in many fantasy leagues in the past, and almost all of them had more trade movement than this one. Maybe its because of the second-guessing and criticism? All I know is, it looks like DH won his game this week, and he wouldn't have if he didn't make that trade. So it's already paid off for him. Who benefits by your continued haranguing of an already-made trade? Besides, complacency is boring, trades are fun. :)

    Maybe it's because we know how to carefully conduct our drafts so that we are happy with our teams from the beginning. Plus, we know what a bad deal looks like, and do not trade just for the sake of trading.
