In case anyone was interested, I didn't get the special assignment at work. Must continue to work rotating shifts. Not a big deal, because the guy who did get it is (almost) as qualified as me, and (almost) as deserving. Plus, he has 3 kids under the age of 6, with a 4th on the way. He can use a straight day job much more than me.
Not a very good start for ace pitchers. Mussina got rocked in Japan, Pedro had a mediocre outing (for him) and Halladay is getting smashed by the Tigers.
no ucking way that guy is more deserving... no one is more deserving of the job than you what a pile of crap shell sucks... let me know the email address' for the people who made the decision... they need to be signed up for some spam
Of course not. They are not on the roster to get you offensive points. They are pitchers. First of all, there would be the massive unsolveable conflict that would occur regarding AL and NL pitchers with the DH issue. Secondly, even if their batting stats were to count, most pitchers would likely get you negative points per game anyway. It doesn't make a lick of sense to count their offensive stats. Show me a fantasy league that counts hitting stats for pitchers and I'll show you a league on crack. Yeesh.
Last year's league = on crack. I'm fairly certain that last year's league did in fact count hitting stats for pitchers. I recall at least one pitcher(on a team I was playing) helping himself out with a homerun that did show up in the game score. I don't care if we do or don't.
Pimp, last year's league did not count pitchers hitting stats. I have never heard of any fantasy baseball game that counted pitchers batting stats.
Is it just me, or has BobFinn* gotten more robotic over the years? No emotion at all, just random facts to answer questions. Loosen up, Bob, the team needs ya!
