Fade, I dont know why this happened, but the game has me with no SS starting this week. I only have one active, Vizquel, and I know I submitted him as a starter for the week (why wouldnt I?). Could you go back and correct it for me, please?
Lol, sorry. I didn't think you'd take it personal. It's not as if I took him out of the lineup, it's the fantasy league software that's buggy. Anyway, thanks.
not sure what you mean, it is the same in the results page as what i submitted and what i already posted in this thread
The software is buggy, It left Blanco out of my lineup 2 weeks ago, but I didn't care because it made no difference anyway. Also, I'd like to pick up Roberts but can't do it because he is not available for some reason.
It's no big deal. I was just surly because Abreu and Sosa are killing the ball. However, I do prefer that all lineup modifications be taken care of within the first day whenever possible, preferably before gametime. Whenever I set my lineup (or set somebody else's), I always click over to the matchup page to verify that it is correct. It takes two seconds and should be standard practice. You cannot add a player who has not cleared waivers yet. You can enter a claim for him via the add/waive page.
I can't shake Smeg this week despite some great performances by my staff. Could be pretty tight tomorrow.
no kidding. I have 4 pitchers around 30 points and your have 3 hitters near 25 points. I can't believe you are still in this. Ironically, it's all going to come down to Vasquez and how he does today. If he pitches strong you should win.
Damn, poor management decisions will cost me this game. Pedro Feliz was announced as the new starting 3rd baseman for SF, and he has gotten 1 AB since. Meanwhile, Ensberg looks to be emerging from his slump. But the big mistake was benching Jose Guillen in favor of Marquis Grissom. Grissom has been on fire, while Guillen hasn't done squat. Naturally... Grissom...2 points Guillen.....25 points. I gotta quit playing hunches and just let my main players play.
Behad -- the matchup game will kill you every time. Jose "safety" Valverde is looking good as the new Arizona closer. Two saves already this weekend.
Yeah, I know. I may have spoke too soon, however. Miller with a great game pulls me to within two points, and I have 8 hitters to his 1 left. All pitchers are gone.
Oh, by the way, watching Pedro struggle in the 1st inning at Cleveland. 1st pitch hit over the centerfield wall by Lawton, next 2 batters single and finally got a groundout.
