Why would you ever buy a Schaub jersey in the first place? Johnson, Foster, Watt, Cushing, and many others make sense. But who could ever get so excited about Schaub that they drop $90 for his jersey?

Watch the video again, the guy says he's paying $200 for the jersey... which he didn't have before, he just bought it. If anything, he could have gotten it for $50 even, knowing how upset its owner would have been. ROI

If he has that much money, shouldn't he be in the luxury boxes?

i would have dropped the 90 bucks just burn the jersey to make a point.

even better that the media picked up on it.

    money well spent.

I honestly thought to give him until the mid point of the season but after the last game, I seriously want him gone before that. There are too many good players on this team for us to be losing points due Matt Schaub throwing picks or failing to get the ball down the field.

McNair loves that all of those people are going to go buy new jerseys now.

i'm officially off the Schaub bandwagon. i can't really explain what's going on with him. i know he's physically limited but throwing pick sixes in 4 straight (yea, i'm counting the SD INT as a pick six) games is mental and mind boggling to me. we could easily be 4-0 if he simply didn't gift 7 points to each of our opponents. they only way i see him recovering is going on a winning streak without these type of game losing mistakes.

From the radio this morning, the person spent $200 to purchase the shirt, and burned it. It sounds like that the jersey was not purchased in the first place

I swear, the Texans fans that make it out to the games are disproportionately uglier and probably dumber than the rest of the Houston population. Rockets games are full of cute ladies, Texans game... it's like the DMV out there. Like a DMV for overweight, suburban ex-cons.

it was 3 but the his first int of the season might as well have been a pick 6.. do you realize he has thrown 10 interceptions in his last 7 games.. remeebr the leon hall pick 6 where schaub was trying his best to lose to the bengals..

The guy is done. I'm not a Matt Schaub hater, but there comes a time in every QB's career when his game leaves him. It looks like we're watching that.

Oh and jersey burning is lame.

3 years ago it became obvious that Matt was not the answer. At that time the Texans should have started finding an upgrade. They didn't, if Kubiak won't go for it on 4th and 4, he isn't going to change his QB. Being above average is good enough for Kubiak, it is safe.

The funny thing is that Shaub ISN'T safe and the Texans offensive system is so dated and predictable that it ISN'T safe either.

If I am a good team, I drool at the chance of playing the Texans in the playoffs because they will fold.
