I love the Rockets. And I don't support any other team. I did say in another post. I said "I hate myself for being right on my prediction.". And, I'm a big time fan of Yao. But I'm just trying to be realistic here.

Want to explain how? Yao averages more minutes, more points, more rebounds, more blocks, and a higher field goal percentage.
Alright, maybe I should be little less critical. Is this what y'all want, "Yao an incredible performance night 12 pts 4 rbs", "Stoudemire medicore performance 38pts struggling only 14 rbs"? I'm not an oxymoron. I'm a Rockets fan. I'm happy if they win. I'm pissed if they lose. I still bought the tickets. I still went to watch the games. In fact, I have watched 80% of the games so far, LIVE. I think I have more Rockets jerseys than anyone of you. But with the problems the team is having now, there is nothing I can cheer about.
Oh, so the only way to compare players is by how they played in their last game? OK, I'll wait until Stoudamire has another 2 point, 2 rebound game (like a week ago), and that would make him the greatest bust in league history, right?

You're basing 1 week's performance to say that Stoudemire already surpasses Yao? Especially since today's game is an aberration compared to the rest of his stats the past month. Like oh, the 4 pt. 7 reb effort he put up against the Kings? Or maybe the 2 pt 2 reb effort against the Grizzlies. Your "Most Recent Weekly performance" number encompasses all of about 3 or 4 games with one big aberration game from Stoudemire tonight. FYI, Yao has had a better month averaging fewer minutes per game. Yao not only has better stats, but is more consistent. Would you like for me to show you the numbers or are you starting to feel the heat already?

I Didn't read the guys initial post. I had one of those feelings. One of those, If I read this thread, i am going to be more stupid, and my iq will drop signifigantly threads.
My point is Stoudemire is a better player than Yao now. Yao's ceiling is a lot higher. Yao will be a superstar. I don't quit and I don't think I was behind. But I don't think I would like to waste my time defending myself against 80%+ posters who idolize Yao.
I have no idea what youre talking about. If memory serves me, you were one of the most vocal Yao supporters. Frankly your facade is very annoying. First you are a "Yao cannot do any wrong" supporter. Then you deliberately make these idiotic statements to attract attention and pretend youre objective and a Yao detracter - when youre not.
