the only problem i see what that is the "10 championships" part...especially since they're in the same conference, so you'd rather leave that part out until you retire, or at least switch conferences...
Just like picking the Lakers to win it all while he sits on the bench collecting the leagues highest salary. McLady is going to go to his grave making excuses.
Exactly, what kind of teamate says publicly that they hope another team in their conference wins championship? Not cool at all.
Well, neither did Hakeem or Michael Jordan or Tim Duncan or even Isaiah Thomas. That's a very diagnostic comment - "I look at the teams I have been on, I have never had a Dwayne Wade..." You think McGrady on the Spurs of the 2000s would have won anything? Please. T-Mac was built for being a part of a Heat-like supergroup, one which undermines the concept of level-playing fields or competitive balance. He wants all the glory, none of the burden or pressure.
Wow, so shocking to see T-Mac throwing his teammates under the bus. That's certainly not him. Never heard him complain about lack of cast in Orlando. Nor did he ever lament that he had only Yao and never Duncan. Never pegged him as a guy who like to blame others.
Toronto had Tmac, Vince, and Antonio Davis along with Mugsy Bogues, Keon Clark, Dell Curry and Mark Jackson. If Tmac was a team player, they could have made some serious noise.
I'm sooooo glad I don't have to see threads like these in the GARM anymore. You think T-Mac doggin' on Yao is the reason why none of the stars want to play in Houston anymore? Naw, probably not. They wouldn't listen to someone who's accomplished as little as he has.
It really isn't that bad, I know you hate the guy, but posts like this make it hard for new comers to respect what you usually have to say. He's on a new team now, just focus on the Rockets. Maybe you can even channel your hatred for T-Mac towards something else positive like tonights game. Sure a lot of people still have bitter feelings towards him, but looking back, he was sort of always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Whenever there was an opportunity for something great, the injury bug either struck him or his teammates. I'm hoping it's not too late for him to still contribute because he was fun to watch as a basketball fan. The Rockets should try to take care of their fragile players this year.
Who has more hate towards a single player? Rockets fans or Cavs fans? McGrady for being a yapping drama queen or Lebron for being a narcissistic quitter…
I don't hate the guy at all Joe, I wish him luck this year. I just have a unique way of wishing him well. DD
I'm talking about the Bosh comment. Obviously if he stayed in Toronto they probably would not have had a chance at getting Bosh that high in the draft.
