Surrounded by mostly people his age or a little older, yeah probably so. Not on a team full of veterans. ;)

Oh no. They beat New Orleans tonight. I'd say 42 games.

I rather Kept jordan hill.. Just watching the Lakers vs. Sac game today.. Cousins can't even Guard lamar Odom. or Pau decently.. He is just that lazy in Defense and Has a Low bball iq.. we don't Need that in this team...

He has only played like 21 games in the NBA so far. Give him a break. I'm telling you all this kid really needs is some good old veteran leadership.

Maybe but Derrick Coleman's biggest problem was alcohol. Cousins's biggest problem seems to be keeping his emotions under wraps.

Morey still seems to be trying to trade for Cousins, so he must feel that Cousins can grow out of it.

And what "success" did THAT lead to ?

I'm getting a little Benoit Benjamin vibe out of Cousins. Half the professionalism of Erick Dampier, but cuz he's a 7 footer who can walk and chew gum at the same time he'll stay in the league.

And look how far the Rockets got during the Steve Francis era. So what's your point?

Landry has sucked as of late. Would I welcome him back? Sure! But it better not be expensive.

Of all the players we don't need, it's another power forward. It's our strongest, deepest position. Landry's a good player and it was great when we had him, but the only way I could see him coming back would be if Scola, Hill or Hayes was traded.

We could do with a power forward, as long as he is not undersized, can rebound and is not a poor defender, I guess that counts Landry out.

We need an athletic big man, with a mean streak, and a fierce addiction to shot blocking and nasty throw downs.

But so do most NBA teams.

    :(

No kidding. You know, I am not even asking about Dwight Howard at this point. I would be perfectly happy with Serge Ibaka, an athletic 6'10" with length who has shown an ability to protect the paint. Hill shows promise, but I think it is fair to say nobody knows what the future holds for him: will he just be happy to collect a few millions per season, or will he want to put on some muscle and be a dominant player?

No real comment about Yao. He is soon becoming an afterthought for me, unfortunately.

no!!! we don't need Cousins, Landry, Melo!!!

we need Iggy, Stephen Jackson, Josh smith!!!

we need some attitude on this team, we need defense!

Scola + TE (a player Atl. likes from 3rd team) for J-smooth
Battier + 12' 1st pick for Captain Jack
Budinger + Lowry + Taylor + Jefferies for Iggy + Holiday

and I think it's better to bring Brooks off bench when he's back (maybe Yao too) Brooks+Martin off bench will be lethal

    Yao Ming, Miller, Hayes
    J-smooth, Hill, Patterson
    Jackson, Martin
    Igudala, Lee
    Holiday, Brooks, Ish

I do think the Rockets will acquire either Cousins or Landry but not both. But I think the Rockets would most like be aiming to get Cousins seeing that he is a high lottery pick and has massive potential. On the other hand Landry would also be a good pickup. He has the qualities which the Rockets need at the moment: defense and toughness.

I'm sure that to trade for Josh Smith, Scola and a TE would not suffice. What Atlanta is doing is getting a dominant defender and an alright offensive player and downgrading it to an good offensive player with very low defense compared to their previous player.

Cousins will do more than just stay in the league. He has a lot of talent. ATST, he'll be a colossal PITA wherever he goes.
