When I was 11 or so in 1981, Clear Creek High School had a kids baseball camp and I was one out of three kids that showed up. They cancelled the entire camp in about an hour and Jay Buhner gave me a ride home in his car. My mom was teaching there at the time and knew him - that's how I know.
