I spent a day downloading it only to have it disapeer on my computer. I'm stuck with 30-plus R01, R02 (and the like) files at around 20,000kb. I'm very familiar with Bit Torrents and downloading movie files this size and I'm pretty pissed.
Kelly kelly kelly... relax Winrar is all you need to know. install it...then double click the first r01 or rar file...it will open showing you the intact video within. extract it to a specifc place..and wha-la...much Stewie hilarity ensues. EDIT: just read page one of this thread....it has already been talked about...you will need either Iso Buster or a cd burner to watch it since it decompresses to a iso image.. Iso Buster will allow you to watch it on your computer by mounting the image file as a cd drive...or you can just burn it to cd with your favorite burning software. sorry for the confusion...I havent downloaded this...I assumed it was just packed within a rar archive.
Apparently some xvid codecs I downloaded in anticipation did the trick, and it's working on my WMP. I will name my first born "Rockets2K." I bow to you sir, thank you.
you should give him a shoutout in your next column. maybe at the end of the column...put: p.s. Rockets2K - you da man!
what?? and have him expose himself to the world as the internet geek he truely is? seriously, no prob man. now...If I could just talk someone into uploading it to my ftp server..I would have a good weekend. (hint hint)
seriously? i would agree with the beginning and the end, but no way, throughout the movie i was thinking to myself "How they going to top that" and they basically did each other for the whole movie. The Cubs reference was HISTARICAL and the Spiderman dress up, classic stuff
I guess I'll have to qualify my statement: reading all the posts on here, I thought it would be non-stop laughter. Like you said, one joke, how are they going to top that, then they do, etc. And there were a few times that I was tempted to LOL. Still, I thought more of these jokes were hit-and-miss, moreso than most of the episodes. I do think the middle was the best part, and it did have a few great moments. But the fact that it seemed like an extended episode (or 2 extended episodes)...I don't know, it sort of dragged for me, I guess. Classic moments were plenty, but the overall product was just eh...sum of the parts is > whole or something...
This thing won't be done downloading til 2006 at the rates of speed I'm getting. If somebody yousendited this sucker, send me a link oski2005@gmail.com
It wasn't a coherent movie, but more like you said 2 extended episodes. It wouldn't be bad watching it on the Cartoon Network a year from now....
heh, apparently the movie was leaked because of a DVD Premiere party http://washingtontimes.com/upi/20050729-030006-6280r.htm These people made a good point that this wont hurt sales: http://www.mp3newswire.net/stories/5002/family_guy_movie.html Proves a point, Im still going to buy it in September.
