Arroyo isnt bad. He would be worth a look for the Rockets in my opinion. He has upside and is signed to a decent contract.

But I WOULD NOT give up a 1st round pick for him. If I am the Rockets, I dont trade that pick unless I am getting a Wilcox/Chandler type player in return. Otherwise we should just use the pick to add some athleticism and youth to this team.

Keep in mind, guys like Antonio Daniels and Earl Watson will be FAs after this season. You could always go after them with the MLE to get your PG and still have your 1st round pick to draft a PF.

What have the Rockets done with their 1st round picks the last several years? I wouldn't mind them being spared the embarrassment of screwing up another, especially if we got a good PG in return.

I agree with Deuce. I hope we make it to the playoffs but we might be in the lottery this year and could potentially end up with a high pick which could help get a 4. I know the Rockets have made bad decisions in the draft but I feel that they are going to look for someone who is the opposite of Mo and Howard. They also know they need to get a player who is better than Badiane.
Sometimes I do fear that we will end up with the next Jason Collier but they know that lack of speed, athleticism and poor rebounding/defense is our main problem in the front court.
