The terrorists and insurgents destroyed Fallujah the second they turned it into one of their strongholds. The US does not pick the site of the battles in Iraq. Given the choice, we would fight the entire war on the open desert.

for the 8 zillionth time, nobody really gives a damn what you think about that aspect. When potential terrorists or terrorist sympathizers see US bombs destroying mosques or homes, etc, it adds fuel to the fire and gets people killed. In the real world, people die on subways and buses and railways and bazaars directly and indirectly because of such provocations, whether intentional or accidental, so your opinion as to the nobiilty of certain actions is not relevant.
how do potential terrorists and terrorist sympathizers react when they see planes fly into buildings?
wage war on the real perpetrators and when the enemy cornered instead of finishing him pull the plug on the operation, and then shift focus to wage war on another country which had absolutely no involvement in it?
