Stoner cartoons and George W. Bush don't typically mix, but I'm glad to see you take an open mind into life!
ABC had a 'summary' episode of Lost a few weeks back, and watching that really makes me wish I watched more TV and caught this from the beginning. I may just wait it out and buy the (apparently already out) DVD collection.
Yeah, I liked it... the past-present thing is a nice change, also all the 80s music is a definate plus... although I could do without the Don Johnson suits, lol.
That made my Tivo Season Pass after just two viewings. Very funny show. "Yeah, Dennis, your grandfather is a Nazi." Agree with all these postings, but the shows I'm looking forward to more than any other are what Direct TV channels 720-731 have in store for us starting in the first week of November.
I'd been looking forward to this because: 1. The concept (each episode being a year from 1986 to the present) looked interesting and 2. I've got a thing for Chyler Leigh The concept still looks promising, but the acting is BRUTAL. Like another promising FOX concept from last season (Point Pleasant), I don't think it'll last the season because of it. Oh, and for you "Six Feet Under" fans, I was surprised to see Matthew St. Patrick (Keith) playing the detective.
What I really liked was that at the end of each show, they summarize how the year ended, then give a snippet of what happens in the next year. The fact that they brought in a writer/producer from the Wonder years helps, also.
I watched Reunion too! I definitely like the concept and I read about the Wonder Years guy doing it too (from Houston Chronicle) and we all loved that show. I love the 80s so I wanted to see some of the clothes, songs, hair, etc but I was a bit disappointed in the first half with the hair and clothes. But it did get better or shall I say, more accurate, after the party scene. And they had the A-ha video! Overall it felt like another cheesy, poor-acting, FOX tv show. My boyfriend got me watching The OC so I can see myself watching this.
Shows that I already watch...I don't think I can add any new ones. 1. Deadwood 2. Rome 3. Sopranos 4. Curb Your Enthusiasm 5. Arrested Development 6. Scrubs 7. 24 8. Lost 9. Desperate Housewives 10. Alias 11. Gilmore Girls 12. Veronica Mars
