What? We have tons of players we drafted doing really well in the league.

Patterson is better than any PF currently on the roster.
Parsons is better than any SF currently on the roster.
How many PGs have we let go? Wouldn't Brooks look good on this team now as a scorer off the bench?
Landry has had a very nice career.

We UNDERPAY, we are a CHEAP franchise.

Yes and that is what the draft pick is for. No point in even looking at the draft prospects and especially below pick 8. That said this team needs to stop over valuing players that are not good and to establish an identity, before going for trades and players. Also Morey says 2 max contracts assume one of them may go to Howard and Durant does not want to go to a .500 team that's badly coached and underachieving and start from there.

Morey traded 2 rotation players for a pick. I thought Houston's window with Dwight was closing. Seems like Darryl threw away the season, since he didn't improve the team at the deadline. And Motiejunas with Thornton were obviously not the reason team sucks.

Dude Les didn't want to tank early on after Tmac! We had mid tier picks.. You can't compare us to Golden State... AT ALL! Morey was giving the hand he was dealt with! Blame Les! We went from Lin to Harden! Bosh decided to stay! What Big deals was made today? Who going to be Golden State? Timberwolves let Curry fall into their laps! Pure Luck that's all!

I hate losing DMo but I would rather have a first rounder than over pay for him. I never liked Thorntons attitude so I glad he is gone and there is no way we are going to tank. Get in the playoffs with what we have and anything can happen.

Patterson was moved to ensure there was money under the cap to sign Howard. Also Patterson is shooting 39% from the floor this season.

Parsons was widely viewed as over paid and overall hasn't played well in Dallas, coming off a pretty severe injury.

No, Brooks wouldn't look good on the Rockets, he is terrible.

Carl Landry has played 230 minutes all year and hasn't been an NBA rotation player since 2012-2013.

You're right, for a team that is top notch at 3pt shooting and has such an off the ball star player , why sign a top 3pt shooting PG that doesn't need the ball in his hands? He really isn't that good defensively, so I guess with all effort we put into the defensive end it wouldn't make sense that way either .

Stating the obvious seems to be key nowadays. I'll help.

The rockets are praying that Howard doesn't walk for peanuts and accepts a sub-max contract. Glad we're learning so much.

I'm sure Cuban would be delighted to package up Parson's 15M/yr and 15.0 PER and ship him off...

typically u have some good insights, DD... but I think the cheese is sliding off the cracker on this one...

I think this guy speaks the truth, notice that the teams in the East are making all the "all-in" move, but none in the West does.

    What I learn is

"Put your expectation as low as possible for Morey deadline trade"

We have learned that Les/Morey is still chasing a 3-star team.
