My mid-2009 13in MacBook Pro froze up on me a bunch of times in the past few days. I ran the disc utility and it showed a corruptions that were successfully repaired. My HD stills sounds louder than I previously remember.

My question is: would AppleCare replace a loud hard drive? My AppleCare expires on the 7th and I kinda want to milk whatever repairs that'll be covered.

typically there has to be proof that it is failing. If you have apple care you should be able to take it in and get a diagnostic.

go to the apple store and they will run tests, if it's failing they will replace it.
